How long is wootes contract How much did Jan get paid off Who the fook is Kim How accurate was Charles Sales article about going into administration What are Crouch's two proposals and are you considering them Are your positions (lowe and wilde) becoming untenable What do you think about the protests and groundswell of support against the board.
-
Crouch was in the board meeting.....and yes i know he's not on the board Not that i think for one minute lowe has left, but crouch wasnt there to watch a match
-
Some lunatic from Austria predicted a mid table finish at the start of the season....****ing idiot????

Careful Stanley, you might end up eating those words. l think Nick might be spot on, with this one

With what Jan paid to free his contract with Helmond ( http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/jun/26/southampton.championship) and assuming Weston is right about Jan being on 100k (Round that up to 2k a week) and an exchange rate of 1.1, Jan is down over 8,000 euros for 7 months work....and he resigned??????????????????????????? Jan has been forced to resign and given a pay off. Another chunk of money has walked out of SFC.
-
You don't really believe that he resigned do you ?......straight after a board meeting .....when he was managing the team in a friendly I'm sick of all the fighting, bickering and blaming, but another batch of club money has gone out the door for another pay off, following another poor appointment
-
Anybody that seriously thinks Jan resigned needs help
-
Good shout Tim, he deserves our best wishes. As well as being the only manager in the English leagues to have played in a World cup final, i believe that (Unless he was pushed with a pay off) he is now the only manager to have paid for the privilege. Seriously though, he was honest, he reached out to the fans and he did it his way. It hasnt worked out and i'm sure theres loads of reasons why, but my best wishes from this end..... Good luck Jan

Yes. The article I put up is incorrect as it is means tested or works in much the same way as the current tax credits. Having been told I qualified and duly completing the form, I recieved a letter saying I paid over the tax threshold that reduces the credit by blah blah blah and therefore was owed fook all. I am of course delighted for the those that got some money :smt005 Fooked up tax system

Derry says tomorrow and original bournemouth saint says 23/02 which one is right

No they go way back, just go on the OS and search

I couldn't disagree more and the main reason why something will have to give. JP IS lowes stratergy and lowes alone. Wotte was linked to the job long before wilde came on the scene and JP was met and courted (And no doubt promised) before wilde and lowe had the big love in. The whole total football crap that the OS gushed over, the hype and spin were done (If nt written) under lowes guideance. It was and is a disaster waiting to happen and the veyr fact that lowe hasn't sacked him, is because he would lose so much face that his experiment has failed, he would have to walk himself. The only other option, which is the one he has gone for is to sweat it out and hope the boyscze come good. Whatever the state of our club, this STILL is Southampton Football club and i am sure we could attract a number of decent managers.

I completely agree, he is in a no- win situation and will almost certainly fall on his sword come relegation. However lowe will not go without a fight and use whatever means possible to hang on to power. May be i have become too cynical, but last nights hoax "Administration in February" rumour, looked like an orchestrated leak to me, for what end game and by who, i don't know, but if it came from within the club, I doubt it was done in the Clubs best interests. Whatever the outcome, expect a whole load of posturing and spin to come out of SFC over the next month or so.

Watch the Burnley tottenham match, rewind it and watch it again. That's the type of performances you going to need to put in for the rest of the season, to stand any chance.

would you accept administration if it meant Lowe left?

This has already been done once and twice if you read bewteen the lines of lowes reason for the delayed AGM -
Yes, they get first dibs at the pot

In his first tenure, he made mistakes, most people do. Whether he made enough mistakes or big enough mistakes to warrant the way he was viewed or portrayed is open for debate, although personally the Wigley appointment was bizarre and an uneccessary risk. However with regard to your question as to why is it all lowes fault (In relation to his second tenure) for me it's quite simple and absolutely is all lowes fault. Lowe had lined up portivelt before he had made up with wilde and before he had got his foot back in the door. What we are seing now is lowes vision and stratergy - No one else's..... A vision and stratergy that is so fundementally flawed that even Stevie Wonder could see the mess it would lead to. The financial argument holds no water, given the number of loanees and coaches we have bought in, the extending of Dyers contract and the delayed inclusion of senior players on our books. In typical fashion lowe then built it all up on the OS into something magical, revolutionary and believable. The reality has proved very different and given your average football fan could have predicted it, leaves the blame firmly at his door. Additionally his failing to act and try and remedy the situation again leaves him open for the abuse he is recieving. If is fault in his first stint as Chairman is debateable, his second one isn't and this will ultimately be his downfall, unfortuneately it looks as if it will be SFC's as well.

I agree to a certain extent that he will be gone at or by the end of the season. His colours are so firmly nailed to this experiement, that it would be impossible for him to stay if it fails (Which it will). The bit i am most worried about is the fact that he could us into administration out of spite after the FA cut off point -
Could it be something to do with the end of March being the end of the financial year and if the auditors are not in a position to sign the accounts of as a going concern, SLH is unable to enter a new financial year? That's a guess, not saying it is the reason
