This team and this season are shaping up to be something special. Quite a lot of what they produce is sublime and transcends whatever opposition the Championship can muster. They would also crush our dysfunctional teams towards the end of the Premiership era. The late 70's and early 80's team played some fantastic one-touch football which was breathtaking to behold, but the present set up at St Mary's has the potential and resources to eclipse them in time, and, I believe they will.

Yea - Spurs couldn't care less about us.

It was a massive draw yesterday and a pivotal result for us. Particularly after going down to 10 men, a goal behind and being under the cosh for 70 mins. The reaction was because of those factors and a feeling that this is a classic Saints team at the dawn of a golden era for the club.
