You can see why Everton don’t want Holgate
-
Holgate should not be anywhere near a football field
-
Holgate should come off at half time he’s been absolutely appalling Bazunu: I’ve never criticised him, but this is the final straw.
-
Ffs Holgate has had a shocker
-
Pull goal back before halftime and the complexion of the game will be very different
-
Deffo.
-
Saints defensive players are constantly the wrong side of the attacker
-
Ref a Wearsider?
-
The ref was an excellent position to see that penalty, can’t understand why the sky pundits were saying he couldn’t see it to start with
-
We weren’t focused, weren’t concentrating and stone cold for the first 15 minutes
-
Yard wide Edozie
-
Great shot Smallbone
-
Better spell. Should’ve had a penalty
-
What’s that old football maxim about 2-0 being a dangerous lead?
-
Shambles they look like scoring every time they come forward, that should’ve been three
-
bloody heck. I’m late for the start due to fiddling around with emails and making a cup of tea and come into the drawing room to find them scoring their second goal. WTF?
-
A much better game at Kenilworth Road, 1977. I was lucky enough to be there with my father, I was age 9. An excellent Saints performance, topped off by that final sumptuous chipped goal.
-
Klopp looks like he’s had a ridiculous set of teeth implants that are far too unnaturally white?
-
VVD attitude stinks. Just get off the pitch.

Been out all day in London doing a lot of stuff so only just catching up. I am really pleased we’ve had/having a bloody good clear out, expunging the stagnation of the last few years - and we seem to be developing a very new team that we can really get behind, along with a manager who we can rally around, and we can enjoy this league.
-
That was never a second yellow, ref conned totally. Expect an appeal to be successful post hoc but if it affects the result no one will feel any consolation.
-
On the basis of the performance, anything other than the Spain victory would’ve been an injustice and would’ve served women’s football poorly.
-
Barring a miracle, it’s going to peter out in a load of time wasting and injuries
-
Too many flawed performances in the team today. edit to add: there are far less stoppages in the women’s game. It flows a lot longer between the ref blowing up, but by God when she does blow up, they stop it forever.

We get undone by poor positioning, leading to offsides a lot
