The Basel I quoted has been spot on with a couple of things R.E. Rovers over the summer. Like I said, I didn't believe it when I heard it yesterday, but if Rovers fans are near certain it will happen then i'm actually quite excited - which fits in with what Cortese promised.

Agreed, lost count of the amount of times he beat the CBs in the air WITHOUT jumping.

And R.E Harding, he looked unbeatable defensively, but his crossing looked terrible. I can remember one good one and about 4 bad ones where they went straight out for a goal kick or straight into the keepers arms.

James not given an option? I thought he looked very good today. Not a wide man (with Lallana on the left we had virtually no width at all) but he beat his man a fair few times and his crossing was superb. Him, Schneiderlin and Lallana all look much better for last seasons experience. Really glad for Paterson, I had a bet with someone that he would score over 15 goals this season so it's good to see he's starting early.
