I think i've figured it out. This whole scenario was a set-up by Baj and Mark Fry, to try and test the new server. It would also explain why the "takeover" happened on a Wednesday and not a Friday.

I think one of them is playing in the SPL and another for Huddersfield, so he's having a fair bit of success. Fantastic idea and a great team set up there (if a little random). Hoddle, Nigel Spackman, Dave Beasant, Graham Rix, George Foster. And for a while Idiakez was helping them out.

Backing Pinnacle I can't argue against, I can only assume he was conned like MLT. But I Fry was only announced to have joined BT last week? So even if he'd been working with them since the start of admin, Crouch would have had no idea.

Maybe he buggered off to a different club. Seeing as he wouldn't have been on a professional contract, the club would be under no obligation to report it.

That drove me nuts when I climbed up to the top, then realised Zeke wasn't actually stood on the elevator at the bottom. Had to go all the way back down so the animation would continue and he would actually get on, before making my way back up again.

I think you are right. Even when Pinnacle were saying "within the next couple of days" Fry was always saying "we remain hopeful".
