I'm excited for the future of Russball and I am fully behind him as manager. Waiting for your head to implode as you figure out what to do, now.
-
I agree, mine too, but when you look at the amount of game time he's had it's going to be difficult for him to get consistency - especially when he's been publicly singled out by the manager as not suiting the system. Minutes played: 69, 8, 69, 27, 72, 69, unused sub, 14, 40, 8, 56, not in squad, 90, 73. Grand total of 595 minutes or the equivalent of 6 and a half games.

We lost to Sunderland and Middlesbrough when they were bottom half - if Millwall beat us they will be on 20 points, level with 9th so probably top half.
-
Sounds like a typical Saints game to lose, then.
-
Millwall v Southampton - lose Southampton v West Bromwich Albion - draw Huddersfield Town v Southampton - win Southampton v Bristol City - draw Southampton v Cardiff City - win Watford v Southampton - draw Coventry City v Southampton - win Southampton v Blackburn Rovers - lose Queens Park Rangers v Southampton - lose Southampton v Swansea City - draw Southampton v Plymouth Argyle - win 16 points. Predictions based on typical Saints inconsistency, not what I think will happen.

Armstrong was always going to get goals. The Alcaraz prediction reminds me of when we signed Skacel and people thought he was going to be the leagues top scorer with 30 goals, or when Freddie Sears went on loan to Palace and West Ham fans said he'd get 40 goals. Drastic under estimations of the league.

It's funny how Germany and Croatia are considered decent teams when they beat us but not when we beat them.
-
Certainly not the baby faced little forward we remember.
-
Not that odd at all, it's always quieter after a win. Not much to debate on a forum when everyone agrees it's been a good day.
-
Bloody Lemina just scored for Wolves.
-
Then it'll be "no point risking him, we're giving him the international break to complete his recovery".
-
Automatic is gone mate.
-
2 more games and then another international break, ffs.
-
Exactly. No point in shouting yourself hoarse BEFORE the goal.
-
If only he was called Russello Martinho.
-
Him being in the team is what is allowing KWP to bomb forward so much as we essentially shift to a back 3.
-
Is Lis still the keeper there?
-
Patience!

Fourth. Leeds won.
-
Naughty tackle from Stansfield at the end there, studs up on the inside of Edozies ankle.
-
Blimey, Brentford 2 up at Chelsea. Poch might not get much more time (although I think they should stick with him through next season no matter what).
-
I thought he could have stepped up and got that ball too.
-
Brilliant tracking back from Aribo.
-
Thank god for that. Missed the goal but nice to come back to a more relaxed scoreline.

Still winning to be fair. He needs to admit that his style doesn't work though.
