Exactly. Not sure why people are struggling to follow this. Unless they're just in denial about the fact something is clearly about to happen.
-
That would be a totally ridiculous punishment. As would removing us, but at least you can follow the logic.
-
Meaning today?
-
I think it's clear the "ticket sales must be announced at the same time" thing was a cover at this point.
-
The photo released wasn't a part of any business CCTV or records of payments. Look, they've been scummy throughout this but let's not try and pretend this is something it's not. That's exactly what they've been doing.
-
Isn't the business owned by Middlesbrough though? So they haven't released it they've just provided it to the EFL as part of the investigation.
-
I doubt it, I have a feeling they'll remain convinced of their victim status for a long time to come and hold a grudge against us for it.
-
So is it right that the EFL are making a decision today? If so, do we know when it's likely to be announced?
-
Yes, but the one photo released that supposedly shows him recording the first team isn't even at the first team training pitch.
-
As others have said it may be worth sending this to the club. Middlesbrough are being totally misleading about where this guy was.
-
-
Christ you're still missing the point aren't you. Hull would be in breach of the rule if they didn't immediately report that happening to the EFL and to Boro.
-
Why does it matter whether the announcements are made at different times?
-
Not even slightly.
-
People need to stop bringing this up as if it matters. He wasn't a member of the public, he was a member of the Saints staff.
-
If we spend £200million cash on players then it becomes £200million of assets. The value of the club increases by £200million, that's the point.
-
Next time we play them I might stay there a few days before the game and hang around recording and making notes just to fuck with them.
-
I don't believe it'll happen but if they did decide to throw us out of the playoffs, what do we think Saints response would be in terms of legal action? That would cost us a hell of a lot.
-
I'd prefer the money be donated to charity. Maybe the Saints Foundation to properly wind up Boro.
-
10 is too much but honestly, if we have done it then a fine of a million and a points deduction our next season in the championship is probably about right. Although there probably needs to be a limitation on how long it applies...if we don't come back down for 20 years it would seem a bit ridiculous to punish a completely different club, basically.

😂😂😂 Where were you when Diana died? Where were you on 9/11? Where were you when the Saints intern ran into the toilets to get changed?
-
Sounds underhanded and corrupt to me, surely the EFL cant just ignore an alleged breach of the rules because the teams come to an agreement?
-
That's a joke right? They didn't really send a reporter there to speak live from the "scene of the crime"?
-
Doubt it, how many people do you think are going to want to go that we won't sell a 35-40,000 allocation?
