If you can't have a flashy goalkeeper at least have an effective one, Fraser was clumsy but made a lot of saves you wouldn't expect him to. I reckon we'd be at least 4 or 5 points better off this season with him in goal.

Two positions we should be focusing on are striker and goalkeeper. Our wingers/attacking midfielders could do with an upgrade but there are more pressing concerns and i'd rather we make two good signings than four or five crap ones.

If their biggest concern is, as they said, fans surging towards the away end after goals are scored then a wall between block 1 and block 48 high enough to block the view across is the obvious and simplest option. It is rather annoying that their immediate reaction was to close block 1 rather than block 48 though.

So Sport Republics transfer policy was to bring in young players with promises of first team action to help attract a higher calibre of player, and then their first managerial appointment is someone that doesn't like to play youngsters nullifying any bargaining power they had with future young targets? Something doesn't add up with that theory.

He's fucking awful, said it from day one, we've pissed around with the keeper position for too long and last summer was a chance to get rid of all the dross and get in an experienced keeper with a younger understudy and move on. Instead we keep the lesser of last seasons options and sign the young understudy as first choice. He's been absolutely terrible, I don't care if he's the best keeper in the world in five years time his complete lack of positive impact on games will massively accelerate our drop down to the championship.

Ffs look at the point the keeper goes down, just lift it over him into the left hand side of the goal. I don't understand why he tried to take it round him at all just aim for the corner when one on one.
