The unfortunate thing about the Djenepo situation is he was played at left back out of necessity meaning he got a run of games because there was no other option. Now he's freed up to play further forward there are plenty of other options so he won't get a run of games, which will probably work against him. He's still young though.

KWP is the obvious contender, possibly Perraud if he cements his place in the team as he seems very vocal.

What on earth is he saying about a tournament for the bottom 4 teams? Is this another idea being floated to make it harder for teams to get relegated making it more of a closed club?

Haven't the club taken the reduced allocations at games for years now? I suppose the thinking is that even if they sell out a full allocation they're still only making their money back, whereas anything less than a sellout and the club is losing money. Still frustrating as hell though - why don't they sell pre-tickets or something where people put a deposit down for a game a week before it goes on sale so they know what allocation they will fill?

Setting up a network of football clubs across Europe was always going to take an initial outlay of a few hundred million. It'll be interesting to see whether they intend on keeping clubs like Göztepe long term or whether they intend to try and flip them after promotion to the top flight.

There were fuck ups from three other players after the incident you're referring to and it happened about 60 yards away from goal.

That second ruling confirms that we should have had a penalty for one of the second or third handballs (we knew that anyway, but why didnt the fucking VAR official).

This is one of the reasons I hate that we've started to use this tactic. If Lavia is already valued at £50million by some clubs then next summer he could be £70-80million. City sign him for £40million and immediately flip him for double that, screwing us out of £40million. This technique is fine and dandy in theory but it's going to make us fans miserable in the long run mark my words, we'll get good players for one season it'll be like having a new team of loaned mercenaries every year.
