I hate the argument about the amount of "adverse affects" reported after the vaccine. Hands up who here has had the flu jab and had a sore arm after? That's an adverse affect. Let's not forget that nobody needs to prove they have such an affect - you can go onto the government's yellow card reporting website and report anything you want as a side affect.

I did wonder if this was the thinking but I'm still not sold on it. We're deliberately giving the ball away so we have a high chance of winning it back? And in doing so leaving ourselves drastically short at the back, and vulnerable to counter attack, as the tactic requires our best centreback to be completely out of the game off the pitch and for us to have the majority of our team pushed right up to their box.

Trouble is the way social media works with how they push the stuff you want to see means confirmation bias can make even the most seemingly intelligent people base their opinions off completely lopsided information. You really have to work these days to get views from both sides of an argument. It's why everyone now thinks that their opinion is the majority held one.

I think the premise of the title is flawed in fairness. The only reason he's an embarrassment is BECAUSE he's a club legend, the two aren't exclusive. But I don't think the club should have him involved in any official capacity for a long time.

No-one has misunderstood anything. If he's saying the media are manipulating and lying about what's happening in Ukraine, then he's denying the horrific things that are happening.
