I got turned around, thought I was in the Armstrong thread.

Tried to follow them the last couple of seasons but the info/coverage is shockingly bad. If they want people to support women's football they need to put something better in place for more than just the WSL.

I'm sure KWP will be only too happy to step back into the side after being dumped for a season. If he's been dropped to second choice I would not blame him in the slightest if he pushed for a move.

It's going to be very hard to convince him to stay if we are sticking with Livramento as first choice.

Ben White is a good player granted, but Arsenal had the third best defensive record last season and were one of only 3 teams in the league to concede less than 40 goals. Holding and Mari/Gabriel were absolutely fine for them going forwards, and when you think for the £80million they spend on White and Ramsdale they could of signed Ings and still had £50million left over for somewhere they DO look weak - like right back or CM. Couple that with the decision to sell Martinez and keep Leno and Edu has made some horrific fuck ups since being director of football there. Hell, Raphael Varane went for £9million less than White did!

I wouldn't have been particularly happy with any of those. I'd rather we wait for the right deal than lumber ourselves with more sub par crap, given we've only just cleared the majority of said crap from the past. Next summer we'll finally be free of the big earners that don't provide much value for money that were/are holding us back from assembling the squad we really want.

Shame. I think he'll end up back in the Prem.

The super league falling apart means they need to get some high earners off the wage bill.

KWP at left back could unbalance us. Otherwise pretty happy with that team.

Lesser teams regularly beat the top teams is my point. Won't see that this season. The 3 big spenders from the summer will blow away almost all the bottom half - if Ronaldo had already signed for United when we played them, they'd have won 4/5-1.

Bit of a joke really, ever since Leicester won the league the top clubs have shit themselves and spent hundreds upon hundreds of millions to ensure nobody gets close again, even finally pulling the trigger on the super league threats to try and officially make it a closed shop. Something needs to change to stop this absurd level of spending that is only possible for less than 10 clubs in the entire world.

Depending on price Sissoko would be a great signing, I'd quite like us to be involved if it's around £10million.

It'd be nice if he proves you wrong, but he can't do that if he's only going to get a 10 minute sub appearance every 3 or 4 games.

Drove up to it with three others, was one of the worst trips I've ever done. Everyone was in a bad mood for various reasons, we struggled to find a decent pub for ages and then the game itself before a long drive home.
