Exactly. We haven't beaten them in 14 years...that needs to change.

Depends on your definition of kids (under 14-15 I would agree, but above that they can usually maintain their composure in the face of the disfigured). But as for women...some of you really need to join the modern day. Women are just as gobby and capable of holding their own these days. Plus, i've seen plenty of women making a lot more noise in a crowd than most of the blokes around them. I agree about the people who stand there recording themselves all game though. Basically, I think that no matter who you are, if you are going then you HAVE to make noise. Don't let the side down. Don't take a ticket that I could have had when I would have shouted and chanted to the point where i'd be tasting blood for weeks.

I hope you're right.

Sparing a thought for Bury FC and its fans
Saint_clark replied to alpine_saint's topic in The Saints
All it takes is wage caps across the board for each league and you'd be fine. Player wages are always, always what puts a club under. I'd put it at £50,000 a week for Prem, £15,000 a week for Championship, £8000 a week for league one and £4000 a week for league two. We'd have less quality in this country, but the fans of individual clubs do not care, they just want to see their team compete. -
Ings was an absolute waste of money, not only will Hasenhuttls time with us be hampered by previous signings that restrict what he can spend but also by a signing we were already obligated to make.

Brilliant, if I can't manage to blag a ticket somehow i'll be the only Saints fan in the pub going mental! Buzzing for it.

Very naive, it will kick off if there's no bubble. They tried to kick off at the under 18s game where we beat them 7-0 a few years back. Getting really worried this won't be on TV, the media are w*nking over United, City and Liverpools ties and barely mentioning ours...

But those of us that claim he has an attitude problem have always been shouted down.... Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

Of course, when I stop going we get them... No chance of getting tickets now. Anyone that does get them, don't you dare head there and stand in silence - only those that are willing to shout themselves hoarse. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

Yep, outside of the 90 minutes I don't really care anymore. I just can't get excited about aiming to finish above 17th and that being the limit of our ambition. If we went down again i'd be much more invested in a promotion push, even if we were slacking and ended up challenging for play-offs. They've ruined football for the majority of fans in this country.

Anyone heard anything about the Alfred reopening? Friend of mine swears he heard it talked about at the Liverpool game but I can't see it. Real shame, loved it in there pre-match.

Fulham is one of the best away days in the country, give it a rest.

FA should have a system in place whereby a club who goes out of existence has it's ground, facilities etc all paid for and gifted to the season ticket holders of the previous club as shareholders of a new phoenix club. Or call me an idealist.

If he turns out to be brilliant... If it hadn't been for Kevin Danso, We'd have gone down a long time ago, Where did you come from, where did you go? Where did you come from Kevin Danso?

Want to know the real f*cked up thing? If he was searched by a woman it's considered fine by the authorities. If he was searched by a man, well then that has broken the rules and you can report them. I don't think you should (unless you feel they were being inappropriate) just pointing out how ****ed up it is that the rules surrounding searching children automatically assumes that men are more likely to want to touch up kids. As for him being searched, as long as you were present, gave consent and it was by a woman then it's perfectly legal. If you wanted to refuse consent they probably would have let you in eventually but would have been entitled to refuse him entry and then refuse you entry on the grounds that a minor couldn't be left unaccompanied. I don't buy the wind excuse, but it isn't the same for both teams - it blows in one direction.

Obafemi on for Ings.
