Vestergard is shite, walker peters is incredible.
-
Ward Prowses passing is looking a little wayward today.
-
Right, how is that not a reckless challenge then? Seen those given against us time and time again where we've got the ball but because we've gone flying in the freekick is given.
-
Nothing more infuriating to me than keepers kicking the ball straight out of play. If you can't accurately kick it then just boot it down the middle every time.
-
Ings got the ball ffs 🤦♂️
-
Wasn't a penalty or a foul on KWP.
-
Not sure why Vestergard needed to dive in there, he's going nowhere....
-
Legs and arms flailing everywhere, not enough for a penalty there.
-
I retract my original post.
-
Vestergard lucky noone was following in on the back post there.
-
Who was it that said the players were right up for it after the way they acted at our place? Certainly started that way.
-
Not really. It's fair enough. Not worth causing an injury that could end up being recurring and him never being fully fit again.
-
Reed will only come back for a starting place I would imagine, and after a season being one of if not the best centre mid in the championship I wouldn't blame him.
-
Bournemouth could be in trouble. Are we putting Vestergard in the shop window or testing him out for ourselves?
-
Source? Who are the other players?
-
Hmmm...whoscored don't think very highly of him. And his record isn't great, 2 goals in 16 league career appearances. If he's going to cost more than £5million I think we're wasting resources that could be used elsewhere, and even at that amount seems like you're taking a punt. In fact, if ever there was a case where I would say it was purely an agent trying to leverage the players position with regards to a contract or drum up some interest, I'd say this was it.

“It’s kind of bizarre the way it’s panned out. The impression we got at the end was that he wanted to stay at Southampton and fight for his place, which, again, is the player’s prerogative" He can obviously sense a chance for himself to make amends with McCarthy and Gunn being less than impressive. If Forster came out for crosses he would instantly be twice the keeper we know him to be, with his height and build he should be dominating the box to the extent we almost never concede a headed goal.

Au contraire, in the early days he harried and pressed very well, albeit without having much tackling ability as you say.
-
Bit of experience in an otherwise youthful set up. Welcome aboard. In all seriousness, is it possible we've hired him as a coach and some intern at the Premier Leagues website department has got crossed wires?
-
JWP showed a great tenacity, passing ability and set piece ability right from day one. I remember when he made his debut away to Man City first game back in the Prem at only 17 and everyone was shocked, but he kept David Silva under wraps.

Players you would sign from relegated teams....

Buendia and Wilson yes but Ming's definitely not. -
Just bizarre to write him off after 2 professional appearances.
-
Only on loan though I thought?
-
Isn't he seen as their replacement in waiting for Coleman? That's why I didn't include him.

Was the first half possibly Ralph exposing the weaknesses in the squad when our first teamers are out, i.e right back, centreback and right midfield, to prove to the men in control of the money that our current reserves aren't good enough?
