  1. Malang Sarr looks very interesting. Whoscored rates him highly - using his stats - at holding onto the ball, passing and intercepting. As a free agent could be an efficient use of funds as well, freeing up the transfer budget elsewhere.
  2. They knew how that would be taken so must be something in it. That really would be a great way to head into the transfer window.
  3. The new prices are still too high to tempt me back, even though my finances are now sorted (only gave it up because I found myself skint unexpectedly).
  4. LeG, can you at least let us know the timeframe of when we can expect announcements. Before the last game, in the week after it or beyond? Surely they want to announce them sooner and get some more season ticket sales or shirts with names on the back if one is really good.
  5. Wonder if we're due any extra from the Mane or Van Dijk deals now they've won the league
  6. Sims has made an impact more often than not. Definitely warrants another chance. Writing him off because he was subbed off at half time in one game last season is mental.
  7. Sims will be back, we don't need another winger/attacking mid.
  8. What's the Djenepo chant? Been so long since I've seen him play...
  9. Indeed, a player who has scored more open play goals than any other in Europe this season.
  10. In fact if you go through our transfer fees since we got promoted we've spent quite a bit more than we've brought in. This idea that we don't invest is nonsense, we just haven't invested particularly well. If Carrillo was a 20 goal a season striker, Lemina was too class and Vestergard unbeatable, we wouldn't be talking about a lack of investment.
  11. Let's hope our board can stand firm and not lower our valuation to the market one then.
  12. I'd imagine Salisu will be announced before Sheffield United, give our defenders a kick up the arse for the last game of the season.
  13. That's amazing. Should have had the away table at the end though so we shoot up to third.
  14. Last chance to get a big pay day for him in fairness. £25million I reckon, more if it's Leicester rich off the back of selling Chilwell.
  15. Even if not a foul the ref should have stopped the game and it should have been our drop ball. Seems like that rule goes against us no matter what.
  16. There's a Norwich connection there of course.
  17. Funnily enough the best one was actually against Sheffield United in the season we avoided relegation from the championship on the last day. The sheer outpouring of relief that day led to an unstoppable tide flooding the pitch. As for this game, I said two games ago that finishing on 50 points should be the target and we only need a draw to achieve that. To finish on 52 points in 11th would be an excellent season from where we started, and the best part is with a reduced pre season we should be able to carry this momentum on. I'd actually like to see the players train right through - possibly one week off - in recognition of the time away from "work" in lockdown.
  18. I said £80million and a few mates laughed and said we'd never get that much. I said well he isn't leaving then is he. Also saw this;
  19. How on earth did Ramsdale get man of the match? I don't remember him making any saves that really stood out
  20. Sat watching the post match reaction laughing my arse off, not going to lie.
  21. Deserved win. Really funny way to finish the game, he was so obviously offside from the very first replay of the goal. Redmond is really frustrating. Djenepo would be ahead of him for me if he was fit.
  22. Yessssssssss!!!!!
  23. Absolutely right decision.
