I don't get the thinking behind it...in the slightest. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

We've got Bertrand and Danso who can play left back and play Cedric, and we've got Cedric and Valery who can play right back but play Danso....I'm confused. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

Wasn't it the start of a new allocation period today? Down to 6 aways I think? Easy to imagine there were 40 people who qualified today who didn't yesterday who were waiting to ring up as soon as ticket office opened.

As SOG says, when the oppo are pressing right up it's ridiculous to keep doing it. In that situation the benefit of it is that as those players are now so high, there is more space in midfield. The Arsenal goal as an example drove me nuts, as if Xhaka had moved forward he would have been in acres of space and Leno could have just clipped it over the top of the pressing attackers to him from the goalkick, allowing him to turn and push forward already behind the strikers and midfielders.

Yep, be interesting to see how things end up. I reckon it will show that decisions don't even out over the season and we would end up worse off without VAR. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

If anything i'd be more likely to drop Adams with Redmond up top. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk

Transfer window deadline - At a disadvantage with European clubs
Saint_clark replied to stevy777_x's topic in The Saints
It was brought forward to stop the top clubs in England unsettling players at lower clubs, now they're moaning about top clubs in Europe unsettling theres. Can't move it back as you'd have exactly the same situation just with domestic transfers. -
At least we'll know which is preferred rather than just letting them ignore previous votes and decades of convention to do what they want.
-
Absolutely, but as someone who followed all the way down to league one and back and has eventually been priced out of getting a season ticket I am more than happy to take advantage of the new-age fan who doesn't care.
-
As others said earlier, last time we played there it went down to members with (presumably) similar allocation, a much more hardcore support and better feeling about the place. Having said that, anyone eligible who is scared off might just end up buying and selling them on for a profit. I'll already put myself forward as willing to pay extra for a ticket.
-
Also nonsense as Labour have said one of their 6 "tests" (which were designed to be so unreasonable that they would never have to agree to a deal) says about being in a customs union, which wouldn't be decided until after the withdrawal agreement was already agreed and we'd already left.
-
...Because the opposition have since engineered a situation where it's impossible in their never ending bid to overturn the vote in 2016.
-
Because the opposition are engineering a situation where it's impossible for us to leave on that date (assuming the EU grant another extension, which they're almost certain to do). They've voted to refuse to leave without a deal and look like they'll refuse to vote for an election to decide one way or the other before the 31st.
-
Let's just ignore the 6 years of excellent work before the first big wrong decision (not paying Koeman the extra he wanted).
-
I agree, but there's absolutely no way they can let people make their own way to the ground...there will be trouble all over if they do.
-
Oh I agree, but the guy clearly has a hugely inflated opinion of himself so thinks he'll go there, dominate the games against PSG and Real and then be top of their shopping lists for the summer.
