  1. Apologies, didn't realise Cedric got injured pre match. Why the hell did he not just bring Valery in. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  2. Was it a dodgy defensive line up? It looked to me like exactly the line up people were asking for in build up. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  3. No-one see a problem with this...? I hear that there have been issues today with drop balls being given to the defending team rather than the team that had possession today, proving what a ridiculous rule this is. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  4. Yeah I know, just facepalmed when I read mine quoted in yours.
  5. First time playing the game since 2014, that's 5 years worth of new mechanics to get up to speed with. I tried the demo a while back and gave up after taking one look at the main screen, just went back to 2014. And before you suggest FM Touch, I don't want an absolute basic version of the game...I like some of the indepth features. Maybe in the future they should allow you to select which mechanics are indepth and which are the touch version.
  6. "Most unpleasant people i've ever become"...jesus, I need to proof read before I press Post.
  7. We used to do it in the Wilde/Crouch days, I remember being sat in the Chapel and hearing the Northam chanting directly in front of me and above me as well. Bizarre. Never happened since, though.
  8. For something that's supposedly random, that's ridiculous.
  9. 7 appearances, 5 goals and 2 assists so far for Ajax this season.
  10. A sound point. Look at the money we HAVE spent on Lemina, Carillo, Elyounoussi...we could be buying a £50million player for that! Not saying we should, but if £15million is what £7-8million was a few years ago, then £30million is what we should be looking to spend on those players we believe can take us up a level.
  11. I too was yelling "what the f*ck is he doing on the left wing" at the TV...was quite amusing for all those around me a few seconds later.
  12. Implying all white people look the same is no different though, so those who spend their entire lives looking for something to offend them on behalf of others should be offended by your scenario as well or it's double standards. There are a lunatic number of people out there that believe it's impossible to be racist towards white people though.
  13. Depends on the context in which it was used. I don't think the above should be considered racist, for example, as it was between friends.
  14. Those on the far-left are the most sanctimonious, judgemental, entitled and unpleasant people i've ever come across. Spoiler - it's nothing to do with left and right. It's people who are extreme in their views, whatever that view may be.
  15. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49855441 See, I think people should just accept this as a difference in culture and in poor taste and move on. Silva deleted it, didn't intend any offence...let it go. This will now be held up as an example of rampant racism in football. Side note - there's also a white chocolate version. Perfect response from Mendy - who has said he took no offense at all, him and Silva are great friends - would be to make the same comparison in reverse with a picture of the white chocolate character. See if there's the same offense.
  16. Groups of "lads" who go to the pub to watch the football, then spend the entire game staring at their phones, having a fag outside or playing darts. Can't just be me that has to stare at the screen when Saints are playing, refusing to miss anything at all? Also, when people get on buses...and THEN start rummaging through their bags/pockets for money/tickets. You've been stood at the bus stop for long enough to be prepared, ffs.
  17. I thought this was going to be a take about the recent case of the guy who was convicted of rape after a woman consented to sex with him but he lied about having a vasectomy, which would be an actual contentious point. Or maybe about the fact that (somehow) women still can't be convicted of rape by the definition of the law. Those would actually be interesting topics for debate - what you brought up is just weird and frankly a little disturbing.
  18. What? He never played anywhere but right back for us. When Wenger started using him as a CB, it was pretty much unanimous on here that it was a bizarre thing to try and do.
  19. He kept a league one defence busy...forgive me if I'm not impressed by that. Ings has struggled at premier League level but still looked far too good for Pompey. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  20. Adams knows he's blown a big chance tonight. To look completely out of his depth against premier League opposition and then be utterly ineffective against League One opposition speaks volumes. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  21. Get the **** in there! Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  22. Fair play to Kevin friend for being the least racist person in history and literally not seeing race at all. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  23. Adams off for Armstrong please, Stuart's movement and runs behind the defence would tear them apart. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  24. Adams has been awful. Should be dropped after this unless he has an incredible second half. Ings hattrick please. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
  25. Leading to another portsmyth that we hardly took anyone to the game. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk
