The teams that have beaten them have gone on the attack, and you wanted us to go MORE defensive? Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

To add some context, that is my view of the game from the northam. Whoever guesses the correct word in the blank gets my season ticket for the rest of the season. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

Some people have got such short memories - or perhaps they only started going again once we were back in the Prem. Fox was fantastic for us in the Championship. A great left foot, strong in the tackle for that level and very good in the air defensively. Someone above said he always came in narrow to make up for his lack of pace and that was very true, so maybe given that and his aerial ability he would have been better suited to a back three. Another person suggesting Harding was better - lol no. The only reason Harding is so fondly remembered is because Fox replaced him immediately when we got promoted to the Championship, on the odd occasion he did play he was clearly found wanting at that level.

Vokes and Ings were Bompey, not us. I assume they just include any player that has made an appearance this season, so; Dyer Walcott Chambers Ox Lallana Shaw Surman JWP Stephens Obafemi Targett McQueen Mings Struggling now.

I still think he can make it was a CB. His weaknesses are things that come with experience - and if you look at the players he's lost at set pieces, they've got heaps of experience compared to him. Not poor at the back just a little naive perhaps. I'd give him next season as a starter as well to show how he can improve. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

Manager needs to stick with that side from now on. Get some consistency going. I still believe there is potentially something there with Pellegrino, despite all the horrific mistakes. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

Foster picks it up after dropping it? Should have been an indirect free kick to us. Sent from my SM-J330FN using Tapatalk

Wenger - money is removing competition from football
Saint_clark replied to Saint-Fred's topic in The Saints
Don't think anyone is trying to make any kind of political statement with it, it's just a fairer and more competitive way of doing it. You could be the worst team one season and with some shrewd additions in the off-season be in the superbowl the season after. -
Other than Hojberg for Romeu that's probably the team I would have picked. We now need to back it up with an attacking performance - get the ball wide and get crosses in for Carillo, Boufal, Lemina and the opposite winger to attack

The NFL style with wage caps and a draft at the end of the season is a great model, honestly wouldn't mind a complete revamp of football along those lines. Will never happen though.
