That's not how Whoscored calculates strengths and weaknesses. It only lists a strength or weakness if something happens often enough to have a decent sample size of success or failure.

Last season he was dispossessed less times per game than (again) either Stuart or Adam Armstrong, Aribo, SAA and KWP. He was only slightly worse than Flynn Downes. He passed the ball to opponents less than S.Armstrong, THB, KWP and funnily enough, Smallbone and the same amount as Stephens. (This is all using opta stats btw) I'm just sick of this transfer strategy of signing younger players to develop and then ditching them before they're given the chance to.
-
Last season in the Prem he got more goals than Stuart or Adam Armstrong Aribo, Sulemana. Last season he was shipped out before we even got going. I refuse to agree with anyone who says we are better off with Smallbone in that attacking midfield role than Alcaraz.
-
In the meantime we are down a player who has, at a very young age, shown glimpses of ability in the Prem and is one of our only naturally creative players.

Annoyingly working during the game tomorrow. Interested in seeing some clips from the other end of the ground to see how noisy the Northam can make itself tomorrow, if anyone is able to get some.
-
If they want that fan zone at the Northam end to work they need to just get planning permission to build an actual pub. Don't worry about profit, price the drinks at just above break even.
-
And when you're drunk they both look like a 10.

First goal bounced twice before it got past him, second bounced once. Hardly well struck. He doesn't have a goalkeepers instinct, end of.
-
Jesus christ, goal scored in the 97th, Bazunu dives in the 98th.
-
Keep it on topic please.

Properly excited about this lad. Huge upgrade on our attacking CM options.
-
Not really, as I said they probably would have wanted less for him given their relegation and need to raise funds for a promotion push.
-
This seems to have legs. I like the look of him.
-
Is 16 weeks the length of the transfer window? Interestingly it works in our favour for the future with all those buy back clauses City forced on us. If Bazunu, Larios, Edozie or Charles DO end up good enough to be sold for a large amount, then unless City actually want them for themselves they won't buy them back to flip them for a profit.

Who died and made you Stevegrant?
-
Calm down princess, my criticism was aimed at the style of play. When the ball is in our own box we should only be looking to pass out of it. My point could actually be taken in defence of Bazunu, as it's essentially saying ANY keeper would be prone to mistakes playing that way.

What a hero. A modern day Ben Thatcher.

They now count blocked shots separately, whether they were on target or not. I hate it. If a shot is blocked on the line that is no longer considered a shot on target. Similarly you could have 20 shots that were never going in be blocked, and stats would show zero shots off target - making your accuracy sound amazing.
-
I will also say that I saw Bazunu cock up at the back plenty of times last season as well, it just hardly cost us because we were playing against Championship strikers. Lo and behold first Prem game trying to play out from the back in such a way and we get punished.
-
The transfer is under investigation not us specifically, and Villa are the ones who have done wrong if anything. I don't believe anything will come of it.
-
I think that falls outside those rules as him going back to Villa was automatically triggered by Uniteds relegation. They ended up with a player they didn't want and sold him on. Either way, we haven't done anything wrong in that. We would have signed him from Sheffield United and probably for less anyway.
-
We had 18 shots to be fair so we did create. BBD missed a big one and there was some huge last ditch defending.
-
Which is nonsense, we didn't slow down at all up till that mistake.
-
Or indeed Stephens.
