Interviewer just asked the scorer about "an historic night for Greece with your first win over England", Pavlidis looked at him like he's a fucking idiot and then said the obvious...the night was special for them because of Baldock, nothing to do with England.

Hopefully the FA are thinking how well his system will work with the England players...

The forward players make those runs a lot, which means it must be something coached into them, which begs the question why we don't play the f*cking pass when those runs are made...

The first goal was absolutely on the style of play. We gave it away twice in quick succession just before the goal went in, both times from overplaying it out of defence.

I know, and if he's sacked today I would probably be glad but the criticism i've always had of Martin is that he refuses to adapt, but that's not the case right now. There are changes being made although not at the rate they need to be.

The problem isn't actually the playing out from the back, we tend to do fine with that. The problem is that when we play out and invite the press, we then pass it back, then sideways, then forwards, then back, then back, then sideways...playing out is fine but the forward option should always be the first one taken. I am sick of Martin but I actually have to admit I'm seeing differences in mentality. We were set up much more defensively V Arsenal which, while obviously negative, is a clear departure from his "we'll play the same way all the time no matter what" stubbornness that he came out with in the summer. Onuachu coming back in shows he's opened the door at least to him. I would like to see Sulemana and ABK given a chance as well. Smallbone is nowhere near the side, not even on the bench, after last season Martin claimed he would be "a top, top player" for us. He's obviously realised that isn't going to happen. Aribo, Bednarek, Fernandes, Dibling, Archer, Onuachu, Ramsdale, Sugawara are all putting in decent performances. There is the potential for us to do well under Martin but these small adjustments he's made need to continue, most notably stop passing it backwards when there are other options.

Give him 4 or 5 starts in a row to properly test him, don't just drop him in here and there.
