  1. Probably wasn't expecting to be challenging for Champions League (so soon) and so is feeling a bit more under pressure/desperate to do well.
  2. Don't think you've got much hope buddy, loads of Saints fans ended up buying tickets in the QPR section in the lower tier.
  3. The other £21,999,978 was agents fees.
  4. They just spent over £30million on Cuardado and only got £22million for Schurrle, so it's possible they're looking for money to try and balance out for FFP.
  5. Clearly not what i meant. My point was that he was alright to play towards the end of last season and put in decent performances, it doesn't add up that he would miss almost an entire season now because of it. He was injured, that's all.
  6. Going by his Heerenveen and international stats he could be the goalscoring midfielder we're crying out for. Shoot please, filip!
  7. Come on Sam, big impact tonight and on the bench V QPR.
  8. Davis has shot from distance on a number of occasions, when he's played further forward and through the middle. Playing deep or out on the wing he doesn't get many chances to. Ward-Prowse is obviously suffering from lack of confidence in his goalscoring ability right now.
  9. Pelle got one V Stoke, Clyne V Arsenal, Tadic V Sunderland, Wanyama V Hull, Clyne V Villa (admittedly just on the edge of the box), Mane V Chelsea (again just on the edge of the box).
  10. I don't understand why people think we'll get any sort of fee for him at all. No-one will pay £5million for a striker that's done f*ck all for, what, 3 seasons now? Speak for yourself, I won't. Absolutely. No, I wouldn't.
  11. He played quite a few times after that though (which happened in february by the way). He only missed the Stoke game and was back after that.
  12. I thought the same, but it's highly unlikely he got stretchered off just to carry on the facade...
  13. I do not understand why anyone would choose to spend their evening watching reporters say how nothing has happened yet.
  14. Can't wait for this over hyped deadline day b*llocks to be out the way once again.
  15. Because there were no season tickets, and they would have all been fans who don't regularly come.
  16. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, of course. When I saw Mane getting ready my first instinct was Elia to come off though.
  17. With one of Mane or Long in the team earlier in the season, there was a lot more movement in the box so defenders were pulled about a bit more. Elia didn't move about much today when he didn't have the ball, but he did very well beating his man.
  18. I don't know, Elia and Mane both put in some great balls in dangerous areas today but no-one was anywhere near them. Ditto with Tadic, fair enough you can say that he should be looking for Pelle but similarly Pelle should be moving towards the space. I think they're both equally to blame.
  19. People in the Kingsland north have tried to get it going almost every game, but today was the first day others really went with it. Just so stupid.
  20. Too many people turning up expecting an easy win today.
  21. No-ones saying it "has" to be. But it would be nice if something that USED to be a part of the club could be brought back in now that we're not financially ruined. I don't understand why some people are so set against this. The cost to the club will be minuscule compared to the money Premier League (and maybe european) football brings in.
  22. Probably just a clause that says they can terminate the loan whenever they want.
  23. Worst set of results all season? Both teams above us dropped points!
  24. Yeah, his analysis of the Remy goal was abysmal. 'He passes it, gets into the box, it goes to oscar, then ivanovic, he plays it to Hazard who gives a great assist for remy' We know, we just ****ing watched it!
  25. Dont let him into the training ground and get rid asap.
