Agreed, I can literally only think of Barca the last few years, Chelsea 05/06 and Arsenals Undefeated team that had complete solidity and an unreal attack.

I think Rodriguez should be used as an alternative to Lambert or Osvaldo from now on, Ward-Prowse and Davis offer us much more creatively than he does.

Didn't join in with it, having one chant for two players is incredibly lame. Pretty sure Osvaldo and Ramirez were looking at the Saints fans in bemusement when it was being chanted. If we really can't do anything too complicated (even though we had some cracking suggestions in that other thread) then at least do something we don't use, like "Osvaldo our lord" (Marian chant), or "Dani, Dani Osvaldo will score a goal for me" (Heartbeat/Maxi Rodriguez chant), or "Dani Osvaldo, Dani Osvaldo...running down the wing, hear Southampton sing, Dani Osvaldo".

He doesn't, he's probably just a bit two-faced. I think the comments he made were nothing more than "Southampton never felt like the right move, but it had to be done" or some such. Maybe we were the only choice and he didn't want to play in the Championship.

Interesting he says he doesn't like matches (mistranslation perhaps?) as I distinctly remember him saying before that he watches every match but gets incredibly nervous when he does so. Maybe that's what he meant instead of simply not liking the matches.

Probably thought - and rightly so - that he'd be getting a bit more of a chance this season after doing so well on the pre-season tour.

I find myself agreeing with a lot of what Trevor says about the government, society as a whole and peoples morals to be honest.

Interesting decision considering he has got far more chance of playing for Scotland than he does for England. But then one England cap would mean more to me than a hundred caps for a country i don't consider to be my own, so fair play to him.
