  1. And he could have made all the difference in our play-off season as well...
  2. "Ain't nothing over till it's over".
  3. Agree with this, although I think they're aimed more at the kids who are always bound to want one.
  4. I think that pretty much wraps it up.
  5. Finances are f*cked and i've hardly spent anything. Cortese accepted a £1.5million bid for Lallana saying it was too good to turn down...f*cking what?
  6. He said something about doing some work at Staplewood. I'd be interested to know how he knows about the Pilkington "bid" now, because he said a while back that he no longer had any idea what was happening.
  7. Will do.
  8. There was also one under the Dutch Duo.
  9. Care to explain what axe you have to grind against the biggest legend the club has ever had?
  10. Well no, he told us that he had definitely signed about 5 minutes before it was officially announced, as well as updating throughout the day.
  11. Even more reason to go for automatic then. Imagine us and Bournemouth travelling up for the final. Edit; I realise we'll all be heading the same way for Wembley anyway, but at least it'll be a much shorter distance. It'll just mess up South West trains rather than all across the country.
  12. "Stand up if you're here next week" was my favourite from last time. Shame we're away the two games after United.
  13. Think Lamberts penalty taking or composure needs to be higher, he's missing penalties all over the place for me.
  14. First sentence ironic, second sentence I believe he was giving his real opinion.
  15. I honestly heard nothing like that from the club. Any link? It's also possible Cortese heard about Chorley throwing money at previous owners and thought he'd avoid the nutters like him. Let's be honest there's a fair share of outspoken people who seem to have an axe to grind with the current regime at the club.
  16. Indeed, no loanees now.
  17. Each to their own. I think the more personal environment makes it better. The majority of Saints fans all want to ask the same questions anyway when these things come around - and more often than not there's a poster on here who gets an invite, or knows someone that did, and they post a synopsis of what was said. Besides, we still seem to be in a transition stage off the field - removal of instalment plans and the reasons behind it being one example - so i'd wait until next season before worrying about this.
  18. I think the dinners are a better way of working it anyway.
  19. But you said at the time that we weren't working hard enough, when we've since learnt the players were worked too hard.
  20. Excellent news. Once he settled in he proved he was very good. He's even playing out of position at the mo.
  21. Chamberlain scored two like that in that game, the first was a definite fluke - but that one he meant. He had the time, he looked up and everything.
  22. Thomas without a doubt. Celebration makes it even better.
  23. If he got motivated Clarke could easily score goals at this level. Seemed very overweight and disinterested at Wednesday.
  24. Because they're two places above us? And he doesn't seem to like us anyway, judging by his goal celebration at St Marys.
  25. Can easily be included in the Austin thread already running. Fwiw, I don't think we have a chance of getting Paynter.
