I thought it looked like a bit of a lunge but one footed and won the ball. Very harsh from where I was.

Saints Vs Brighton final - Surely the sensible option would be for it to be held at Fratton Park?
-
I really don't know. Maybe for piece of mind. Interview everyone, pick the best.

Thinking about it... Maybe we have approached Paul Hart for manager. However Cortese may be just doing a good job by interviewing everyone available? This just happens to be the only one that's been leaked. Just because Hart is being interviewed does not mean he'll get the job. And the reason he shouldn't get the job should shine through in that interview (and CV to be honest)

Tbf, Sky Sources are usually wrong. I remember them saying we were on the verge of appointing Paul Ince and the very next day we got Nigel Pearson.
-
I'd go with far less qualified

This is surly a wind up! What has he ever done. Would he be NC's 'yes man'?
-
This is a real worry! What if the new manager doesn't win his first 3 games? What awful timing

Seen a couple of them at Fitness First before. They never come across as the 'harmony group' type.

I go anywhere, including festivals. Quick wipe of the seat and it's fine. I tend to go at about 2.30pm at work every week day. Cleaner than home if anything, plus I'm getting paid to have a dump. And the money you save on bog roll is fantastic.

Southampton born and bred. I noticed a while back my accent has changed. At school I used to said graaaaaass, glaaaaaas, claaaaas etc but without realising it's changed. No idea why this is, I can only assume it's who I hang around with now and maybe because of tv! I also get northerners thinking I'm from London, and Londoners thinking I live on a farm.
-
Yeah the only time I've seen kids in there is before Saints games. Usually on the pool tables. I'm 99% sure you wouldn't have to order a meal for them to come in so long as you're having a drink. The new landlord there seems to be pretty easy going.

I've started going to The Red Lion in Bedford place before games. They have a couple of decent ales and spirits and no need to que.
-
I can see him being played on the wing which by the looks of it would be a waste
-
Sounds like a great signing, not that I have a clue who he is

If a woman slaps me (open palm) then nothing but restraining is required. If I womam punched me, I would let that be that. If they did it again, I would do the same back. Some women think they can get away with violence towards me just because they are a woman and think they are untouchable. It's these women who need to be hit back.

This would be stupidly helpful as I'm a sales rep for independant bars/clubs. At the moment it's just a case of finding somewhere to live. What's Lipson like?
-
That's quite handy as I live about a 3 minute walk from the 'Richer Sounds' in London Road. Cheers

Hi, I'm moving and am leaving my current sofas with my house mate. Anyone looking to offload theirs, or know someone else that is? Also looking for a decent deal on a 37-40inch TV? Cheers. (I am on freecycle/preloved before anyone suggests it)

Well it was confirmed today that I have the job so I shall be spending a long time on findaproperty.com Looks most likely to be Plymouth I move to

Went down today. They have tributes infront of both turnstiles of the Itchen now. Shame they will have to be moved. Also noticed that the bit on the front where it said 'FlyBe' and had a picture of a plane is currently blank. A lovely picture of Markus would fit perfectly!

Yes, thats exactly what I said. Whether you like it or not, private schools have students who are less likely to **** about in class, play truant and/or distract others. If I was in a position to send my kids to a private school, I would do it. They would be less likely to fall into the wrong crowd and more likely to get better grades. Unfortunately it's unlikely I will be able to afford that. You and I know that there are children at state schools who have a wonderful attitude and come out with fantastic grades. It's just there is a lower percentage.
-
I believe if you have done well in life, you deserve to be able to do thing like buy a big house, buy a nice car and yes, send your children to a good school. Private schools are not all about the actual teachers (although a large percentage is) but also the pupils that go there. The children tend to be in a different mindset when going to school and are there to learn.

Hardy hardy ha! Anyone on here live near there...?

Maybe we could do something as a tribute for next home game?

I think a flag flag/banner we could use all season is a great idea. Wouldnt cost the earth and plenty of people would donate
