  1. I still feel Brighton will fall away. Much like Cardiff do every year. The next 5 games are massive. That will be when teams pull away a bit and that will be our chance to be one of them.
  2. Will be on SaintsPlayer soon I imagine
  3. I thought that showed a good sence of humour
  4. Looked a lot fitter today. Hopefully he can keep it up
  5. Get Woolston Ferry going! If we sign Richard Chaplow (To the tune of 'I love you baby') Oh Richard Chaplow, You are the love of my life, Oh Richard Chaplow, I'll let you sh@g my wife, Oh Richard Chaplow, We want skin for hair tooooo.

  7. It was my birthday yesterday too. I was too busy doing stuff to come on here though
  8. I payed that Million Pound drop live online. Got through the whole lot with the million. Pretty easy questions, they just doubt themselves too much
  9. He's had one or two good games, maybe he just needs to settle a bit more.
  10. Don't drag your feet so much when walking
  11. Can't believe the stick he's getting for this! Can't remember the last clanger he made. In fact what I can remember is him saving a point against Brighton, saving 2 points away to Sheff Weds etc. He's by far the best we could get for this level!!!
  12. oh right, okay.
  13. I'd rather have a younger bird who's enthusiastic and knows what she's doing.
  14. No, your hands have grown since you were a child...
  15. I would love safe standing to come in. Not only will the atmosphere improve massively, I think more people would be tempted to go to live games. The biggest thing I would enjoy is that when mates who don't have season tickets want to come to the game, they can stand with us and not be forced into a totally different part of the ground. As the post above points out, how can it be safe for some ground and not others?
  16. All very positive. Love the sound of looking to win the title when we get back to the PL. That would take a lot of building/money. Really just confirms that we are in safe hands and the next generation of being a Saints fan will be a hell of a lot more fun than the last 10 years or so. Would love to go to one of these dinners
  17. She's 4th in the programme after Charlotte big t1ts, Neils sister and Carly.
  18. Um, am I missing something here? It's clearly fake....
  19. Shame this thread got hijacked. Mrs Ellery is my grandmother as you may have seen on 1 or 2 other threads. My Granddad was my hero and this was his wish! He never wanted it to be a big public thing, just something to be there to remember his friends that died that day, on that site. And yes, all of them were Saints fans. SMS is a big part of Southampton, the blitz were a big part of Southamptons history, the Blitz killed 11 Saints fans exactly where SMS now stands, all he wanted was a small plaque somewhere just to remember his friends in a place where they were killed during a pivotal part of Southamptons history, where now stands a pivotal part of it's future. There was 7 years age gap between them. He was 15, a normal age to be working back then. This is true. My Grandfather wrote him a letter (in fact wrote him a few letters as it took a while to get any sort of aknowledgement) I also wrote him a letter. The response we got was to buy a brick as the club didn't want to pay for a plaque. My Grandfather replied offering to pay any costs but never heard anything back. I actually drafted a letter to Markus and Nicola in January but never got round to sending it. Unfortunately my Grandfather passed away, as did Markus. The BBC got wind of this story when asking my Grandmother to relay memories from 70 years ago. They went out of there way to make this happen, no one asked them to. Thank you BBC Solent, SFC, Nicola, and Kelvin Davis.
  20. Those cheques get stopped in clearing, even if the cashier believes it to be dodgy in some way.
  21. You're welcome to her
  22. About 5 years ago my ex lost her phone in Ikon and then again the next week in The Square. Both times handed in. 2 of the last places in Southampton I would expect there to be honest people. A few weeks later she dropped it in a glass of water and broke it. Irony being her insurence covered theft but not water damage!
  23. Don't know if anyone is listening to Radio Solent at the moment but my Grandmother has been on telling of her experiences of the time. Some may remember a campaign I ran on SF years ago to get a plaque at SMS for those lives that were lost on that site. My Grandfather was the only surviving employee working that day. He has written many letters to Rupert Lowe about getting something to remember those who were lost. Rupert replied asking him to buy a brick and to personalise it. He unfortunately passed away in May. Thanks to BBC Radio Solent a plaque has now been made to remember those lives that we lost on the site where SMS now stands. Thank you Radio Solent, Mr Cortese & Kelvin Davis. I know my Granddad would be so proud.
  24. Happy with that draw. Nothing that exciting on paper but can see it being a cracker. Will be nice to welcome back Ormerod, Euell and Crainie. Hopefully the ticket prices remain sensible and don't go too high just 'cos they're a prem club!
