Got to say, it's not been great lately.

Speaking to a colleague the other day. He's a Derby fan who has rarely been south on the Themes. His exact words were "It's annoying we lost in the cup to a lower division side but even more annoying to lose to them. For some reason their fans have been all over our forum telling us all how huge their club is. Why do they hold theirselves in such high regard?" I didn't have time to explain.

Mentioned this a lot over the years. Never understand it. Even in Sunday league you'd leave someone up. There must be a reason.

It'll be a sad day when Stoke beat us to a player.

To challenge yourself against the best players and teams every week as well as more exposure leading to international call ups. And yes, money.

Reckon it'll be around 28k which is a very good turn out if you ask me.

I think agonisingly missing out on the play offs would be funnier. No extra money in the coffers for 2 games on tv. Also no extra excitement meaning it's been yet another pointless bore of a season in division 4. Unfortunately that won't happen. They will go up.

Dad, brother and uncle are all taxi drivers. They all seem to be moaning there are too many cabs out there now meaning it's slim pickings. Best way to go is account work (running pilots between airports etc) and school runs. Can't imagine you can just walk into getting those though.

The Portsmyths and delusion continue. 2 wins and they pipe up big time. They'll be unbearable if they ever make it up to the 3rd division.

Would hate to see us with a betting company or Wonga on our shirts. Would be brilliant to have Liebherr on there. There are some other pretty large companies with local head offices/connection like Carnival (P&O, Princess etc), Skandia, Bacardi, B&Q, IBM, Specsavers and even West Quay. Need to find a balance of ethical and dosh.

This is so unlikely and out of the blue I can't help but think it's true. Just like Adkins and Lambert. I really hope we keep him. He's clearly still an important 1st team player but you can't underestimate his influence behind the scenes. Him and Kelvin are vital for that and I hoped they'd both stick around after retirement like Jaidi

I'm on the 'we have nothing to gain' side of the fence. Unless we won 7 or 8-0 then the result is expected. And occasionally a L2 club can raise their game and put out PL giants, look at Bradford. These things can happen. Plus it would be a good pay day for them.

Got to hand it to them. They were by far the better team there. On that showing they'll be champions this year.
