I use a ship to send Furniture etc (as when I came and when my family moved back) and of course I am so special I don't bother with planes I just put red underpants on the outside of my trousers, don a pale blue cape and fly myself everywhere I kept my UK Bank Account (obviously) however I needed a local bank account in order to be paid and to pay things like Direct Debits for everything. That was WAY before anti-Money Laundering Legislation. We brought around 20 different new expats down here on Secondment while in the MNC and the usual relocate time was 4 weeks and THAT was a hell of a lot of work We have been opening a Bank Account here for a Company moving down. It's taken 10 days so far. They had to start the process in the UK before flying here to do the signatures etc

OK so for example All of the below will have been done by an Agent, Management Company, or General Minion. And once they have run around and done everything? The SHIPPER has to provide ID proof and - SIGN THE DOCUMENTS. he wants to send personal urgent items by AirFreight? They must still be booked, packed, all the packing lists must be signed and HE must attend the Freight Centre. Any items shipped into the EU without being "Personal Possessions" will be subject to delays and Import Tarrifs and will need original Commercial Invoices. They will also then need multiple PERSONAL trips to Customs at the Bonded Warehouse to prove Identity and prove that the units are your own. And of course all of that is ASSUMING that there are no requirements for additional Security Screening.

Lol at people complaining that it has taken him 8 days to find a removal company, get options on a shipping date for a Consolidated Container, get the quote approved by Southampton's management, compiled a packing list and valuation for UK Customs and for Insurance Purposes. Decide which items he will not need in his first 4 weeks in England and which to pack into his 30Kg Luggage allowance in Business Class Queue up in the Embassy, submit Passport and Documentation for the Visa. Queue up in the Embassy to collect Passport Documents and Visa. (Note for reference purposes - Dubai Consulate takes 10 days to process a replacement passport. A minimum of 5 working days from submission of APPROVED Documents (ie after Interview) to issue a VISIT visa to UK for non-EU Citizens. Contact the Japanese Tax Authorities and submit Documents Contact his local Players Union and complete the Docum, ents for his Insurance and Pension Contact a Japanese Arm of a UK Bank and open a Bank Account in order to get paid - Bank has to perform Due Dilligence which takes a minimum of 3 days, and then the account opening will take a further 2 days, all of which must be done in person at the Bank Have a few nights out in his favourite Ramen House with his mates who he won't see again for months Yep that is all totally unreasonable and a Conspiracy that Saints don't know what they are doing

Well, just to make the England Fans that travelled down even MORE miserable... It is currently (for us) a chilly 21C Cloudy And looks like Rain heading in..... Lol if they'd put some spine in to their batting Anyway according to Twitter the payers are off playing Golf with Lee Westwood so they're happy they were krap

Perhaps JoCa is appealing the fact that he is the first person (fictional or living) in history to fail the FAPPT?

Thx for finding that saw Jordan Sibley retweeted about sending in questions a week or so ago. Looking forward to the rest of it (when our bandwidth finishes downloading it! -
Back from the game fred. Set out when we were 26/1 arrived 36/4 stayed pretty woeful from then on really. Trott hung around and then Broad Swann & Jimmy had some fun. One bright spot? An "I was there when moment" possibly right up there with Claus scoring - but YES, Jimmy Anderson hit a sweet Six over midwicket (not even cow corner) and at least 3 Saints fans saw it! Were more people today - almost double Tuesday I guess First thing I saw when I walked in? A new aap Saints Shirt! - First one I've seen here. Lovely couple, ST Holders and TSW lurkers, really nice afternoon chatting - hope you have a great rest of hols guys! (Wonder how they knew who I was?) LOT of disgruntled people tomorrow - They had sold out all the Premium Seats (ones with beer). This ain't Lords - so tough luck no refunds Was a strange lad walking around the stand all day with a Dead Chicken, randomly calling out C'mon Trotty/Broady?Swanny/Jimmy. Would love to know what he was drinking. Most of The Barmy Army had worked out where to go to sit in the Sun so there was a severely dazzling glow of Pink Knees from the "Beach Road" end. Oh & got myself this year's Barmy Army T Shirt - it's a stupid price Aed 90 - about 17 quid as always but it's one of those things if you have been you have to wear the badge to annoy your mates back home. (Oh just in case some wondered - you normally find "Some Geezer" with a bag full of them outside the ground at away games or in the "allotted Barmy Army Pub" (ie ask where they all hang out in the evenings) Yes you can join & all that but that's how I've always got mine England REALLY have to go back to the drawing Board. Gooch has a hell of a lot of work to do in a short space of time. These simply are NOT the pitches to be belligerent. Have to drop Tremlett for Monty (or Possible Finn) for the next Test here in Dubai and maybe bring in Bopara for KP (never thought I would say that TBH) Abu Dhabi? Not sure, but would be pretty certain it will be a similar wicket in which case 2 quicks & 2 spinners is a must Think we really missed Tim Bresnan here, his skiddy hit the deck approach and fight with the bat may have made the test last to lunchtime tomorrow

I wonder what Titanic events await us down the road today?

338 all out. Tough now they did well in the first hour today to get lead of 146. Going to have to bat for 2 days and the ball is turning. Aim to head up after lunch if I can, but work getting in the way at the moment

Just back from a free booze night at a new bar opening here. Met an indecicipherable Jock. He was a Rangers fan he wanted to have my babies Because we have so rocked the Celtic Boat. I have no idea hwat that means I'm just amazed I can still type after a free Real Ale night here in Dubai. Medic?!?!

Showed a bit of fight today 288-7 Only 248 runs scored in 90 overs - shows how slow the pitch is and how badly England used their brains yesterday

Now think that through again.... What is poopeys most fundamental simple basic problem? They have no cash. They need an injection of cash. They will not be paying the wages with tax credits FROM AMERICA They will not be servicing the CVA payments shortly with tax credits The whole point is that poopey are awash in a million derivaties of loan notes options and bonds. They're like a City Trader who bought as the market went south. PAPER they have a plenty Cala Corp ain't got no cash assets. His tax credits are ONLY of any value to someone who needs to reduce their tax payments - unfortunately for poopey they don't pay HMRC (and if they DID - they pay in the UK, not America)

If it was not so tragic due to the loss of life.... Anyway, the Captain did not RUN AWAY. He fell into a Lifeboat by accident after he tripped http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/italy/9022170/Costa-Concordia-captain-says-he-tripped-and-fell-into-lifeboat.html Obviously. all 3 Senior Officers must have accidentally tripped up at the same time

Just one other point on the cost of Hooper and why now. Finding ANY striker when you are a PL club is hard and they are always more expensive. I do not for one minute think that NA & his backroom staff want to buy Hooper & give him a contract until June - they believe he is the player for our first two or 3 years back in the PL. On that basis they are paying 6mil for an ENGLISH PL striker That is a bloody good deal
-
Cala corp has assets of $6,733 But it is all OK because his losses are an asset..... How neat is that? Make a load of loses then go buy a football club that makes losses by using the losses you made... Who needs money anymore eh? poopey - the World's first Derivative/CDO'd Football Club
