Ah so that's the problem - here's our midfield today [/img]
-
Oh dear, 1st Spitfire went down faster than that Brighton defender last week. C'mon Saints get your sh1t together you've got my finger twitching over the Sals game stream already
-
Oh great a sloppy start
-
OMG Bart makes a save!
-
Salisbury; Salisbury; we're the mighty Lilly Whites and we come from Salisbury, (or whatever the hell they sing up at Old Sarum) OK that's got that over and done with and out the way. Spitfire Cans at the ready weather reports raring to go speakers pumped through a 6MW Amp so the commentary has SOME volume. COYS!
-
Dilemna time Obviously it's Saints and will be listening on Saints Player But home town got their big day out up the M1 today so good luck to the lads who've gone up there from Salisbury, quite a few Saints regulars I know of are having a massive day already

Ah so. We add Japanese Footballer, and go find incollect sterotypes So this is a taste of what we have to look forward to (I'm sure that's our man's volley against Aus in the middle) Nooo you all cry that's Chinese... Don't worry The link is tenous but the sequel was made in... Japan And this post was apparently almost as risible as the sequel Wow so we now have a new competition to make up the worst imaginable & stereotypical song ever. To the Rod Stewart Classic. We have Shaolin, We have Shaolin Playing up front......... Home & away oh sod it time to take the meds
-
That is SOOOOO typical. When will dumb Brits work out that the rest of the world is DIFFERENT to London? Jeez they obviously decided to try and do everything themselves without getting in a "Business Culture Translator" and like almost everyone else they hit the FAIL sign pdq. Of COURSE the VIP passes were the most critical part of the deal. That and where they could put the Qatar Foundation adverts, Jeez. Oh well guess it makes AA's job harder. They wanted to sell the rights to someone in the ME? Jeez even Clarkson knows who they should have called
-
Yeah saw it 2 nights ago mentioned it in the Films thread. Dragged future Mrs D_P to watch it last night so twice in 2 days and the gags just get better 2nd time around Totally did not recognise JA 1st time until the credits - so out of character and what did they do to puff her cheeks out like that? Colin Farrell was a classic cameo as well, specially the "outtake clip at the pharmacy" "I'm blowing dust mites outta my brain give me roofies" & 10 years for Video Piracy lol I'd do her in all 50 States. That's not a catch phrase from a movie It is now. Lol

Gotye - Making Mirrors If Sting & Peter Gabriel were to have a Love Child.... This is massive in Poland at the moment & Eyes Wide Open was (apparently) the biggest song of the year down in Aus. Indie roots, Gabrielesque sound and weird as fook videos.

:lol::lol: Post of the year

Jeez Frank, you mean that nobody bought you a new keyboard for Xmas with the letters round the right way and all of them on the keyboard. That's sad Dude. Joke aside, I do agree with you, I have some good friends who really are gutted by what has gone on and haven't been since the fake Sheikh debacle. They love their club and yet the sense they talk when I get back to have a beer with them is lost in the moronic clamour for bigger better best from the undereducated masses. The "broken ones" know the ideas of a new stadium "tomorrow" are stupid, and they also know that the only thing that came out of getting rid of the maimer was an even deeper nightmare. Still, it IS their own fault, IF they'd started again in the BSQ this year with the fans running it, they could have been a couple of months away from returning to the FL, stable and with a sensible plan to build a sustainable future. Instead they got Comical Andy back
-
Bloody good luck to them, hope they all have a damned good day out.

Lol was just wondering who'd fall for the bait on that last one I've recommended Jools to two others who are looking to go, if it was a get up and boogie event I'd probably do Jools again, but it isn't, it's all seated on hotel catering style chairs and just isn't the place where you can do much more than tap a toe. Will keep trying to talk future Mrs D_P out of JB

Jeez that rant is more obscure than some of my old missives on the poopey thread. Mowgli & Monkeys. Any of our lot from the frozen windy Pagan lands care to translate all of that? And yeah can we get some decent players off them? -
I see they have signed the striker they need to get them out of the nPc

Well according to many on here it's something Guly still can't do Let's face it, we have all seen a player make his debut and thought WTF? I keep on about seeing a young lad in a pre-season friendly where the local & Saints fans laughed at his poor finishing & control and some baying for him to be taken off. That was MLT at Salisbury. Did you watch Lallana in his first few games? looked like a fish out of water, his spell on loan helped him but it was a good season before he reached a consistent level of performance and he developed the confidence to start to use his skills. It takes time to even see what is going on around you hence the loan system. Mental toughness is fine but you can be so "in focused" you miss every other attribute that you need - it is not all about nerves, there's only a percentage of players mentally ready at age 17/18, the rest take time to develop as people not just footballers hence why so few U-21 players make it into our first team
-
Mental toughness is all very well. But perhaps an ability to at least trap a football and maybe just once during a game have the ability to make a pass could be useful?
-
Using my tremendous powers of creativity & originailty I came up with @Dubai_Phil
-
Actually THAT could work.... We'd need to play two left backs against them at SMS, they'd certainly be strong on the Right Wing

Jeez cannot believe it has been a Year since I last asked this question... Dubai Jazz Festival is coming up 4 nights, I can get a free pair of Hostility tickets (inc all the booze we can drink then one more pint) for one night (airmiles thing) Who would YOU go to see? James Blunt Jools Holland Jason Mraz James Morrison (Hint you lot convinced me to see Jools last year and he was bloody fantastic and put on a superb evening of music, so he has a hell of a lot of convincing to make it on my list this time) Unfortunately my free ticket blag doesn't work for some of the other gigs we have coming up in the next 10 weeks or so so I also have one other choice to make... Would you choose- Duran Duran or Snow Patrol with Calvin Harris on the same bill...?
