Had the Pork yesterday as per your specs above except swapped the stuffing for Caramelised Apple & Cabbage for Sprouts. (they sure helped hit the high notes with the home Karaoke machine later on) Gonna have to listen to the 1st half with an Orange Juice & wearing a suit & tie so I can get away to The Address down your way for the Dinner. The upside is that it's Fine Dining & Free Beer & Wine so can catch you up during the 2nd half. Txt updates as we claw back their 1st half lead (again) thx

Again, for the 97,000th time. Solent ONLY broadcast Saints games on the RADIO. They have a contract with Southampton so that no matter WHERE you are in the world you cannot get any stream UNLESS you have subscribed to Saints Player. It MAY be possible to get a radio stream from OTHER clubs subscrition sites but nobody has been able to do that for a couple of years. There is only ONE foolproof way that any of us have found to get around this. You need to have a friend or family member in the Solent 96.1FM who switches on their radio and then EITHER holds the phone next to the radio OR you use a VOIP product such as Skype (which is free). Using this method we have linked people in Aus, US, Lithuania and other remote locations when they got stranded Sorry but those of us that realised we HAVE to pay for this (pretty cruddy) service also realised it was better than the alternatives - ie not listening at all

Ok enough of this sh1t you are clearly no Saints fan and are a closet Skate. If you WERE a Saints fan then you would have mentioned that WE, yes US, yes YOUR TEAM got beaten on TV by a goal scored by a Player who 1) Was not registered correctly at the time and 2) Was signed under false pretences after that club TOLD the FA that they were financially sound so that the FA lifted the transfer embargo. You are defending Liars and cheats. Clearly you are one of them as well. If you had bothered to follow ANY of this thread you will have seen that the majority of posters on here do NOT wish the TRUE Fans of ANY team to be punished for the acts of others. ALL we want is for Justice to be done, whether that means the club is forced to fold, is forced to take further points penalties, is forced to wallow in the lower reaches for another 30 years OR is bought out by more Jokes so that the pain and abuse can continue. All we want is for the CHEATS to get what they deserve. I suppose you are also someone who defends Benefit Cheats, The right of Al Qaeda to representation and the setting up of homes for the poor defenceless MP's who struggle to complete their expemses reports You know what? Sod off

Uh no, not in this case (you have mail). Just think what the alternatives were though
-
Crikey, that's a good point.... We forgot the time honoured "What fancy dress to wear to honour our cult hero of the year for the last away game of the season" thread... Who can forget the classic Frannie Benali & CMFG away days

No, what a load of totally unbelievable tosh. Started out as an OK and believable sentiment until the concept that HTFC have We all know that Saints are the only team in the world to have those If you DO go the playoff route, just make sure you ruin Bompey's season. They had deserved to go up until they showed they share the same small town attitude as Brighton
-
Worried about tonight. No not the game so much as the fact that I have to go out at HT for an "IT Industry Awards Dinner" - ain't gonna win anything more a chance to let the business meet the great & good that is me... So I'll be out listening to boring speeches & looking for business opportunities when my mind will be on how the evolution continues. Will Hartlepool be tough enough to need more Nuns in Gasmasks? Or was it really the link to Dr Who that did the trick against Brighton with DC rolling back the years. Gonna be hard to focus on the job in hand. Hope the same won't apply to the team after the highs of Saturday. Could be a nervy first half again methinks

I know I keep trotting this out, but don't overlook that fact that the Russians REALLY want to buy a Football Club. Their record of owning Sports teams in Ice Hockey, Basketball & Motor Racing IS actually very solid. They also have a very large "war chest". Yes the economics are insane, but then sanity and football have never been close companions. Convers Group had allocated a budget to buy Bompey last season. They never got past Go, however they DID still spend that money on sponsoring Renault Williams in F1, so again, other than getting some nice paddock passes and mingling with the fit chicks at the F1 parties it was an awful lot of money for very little. I'm not defending them BUT they have extensive contacts in football, and according to sources in the media locally they talked "in general terms" to at least 5 "British" clubs before getting into details with poopey. They may well be best friends with previous owners, may even be part of the mirage, BUT they also may REALLY want to have the keys to a train set. We have seen from our own experience how that can really screw up the thought processes of people that really should have known better.

We had a team that oozed PL expereince. Didn't help. Our "pace" optins were strengthened with loans - because no pacey quality experienced footballers would want to join a L1 team, but in the NPC we are more likely to get PL loanees with those attributes so the loans are a GOOD thing CM on it's day IS good enough. Schneiderlin has improved during the season. Chaplow showed what a break could do yesterday. We have 2 CB's coming through for next year. We need strengthening but the core of the team is good enough for a top half finish PROVIDING we do not screw up pre season yet again
-
Not allowed. The Poopey Thread is a Stephen King classic
-
Well, with this years' forum match being called off there are a few footballers around in the South with little to do next year. Sure they'd love turning out every week next year and seeing who can score the most own goals, most red cards (to incur FA fines) and give the bestest interviews Obviously we'd have to fit them out with Red & White Undies, but imagine the joy at scoring another OG & running to the Farton End and lifting up the Poopey shirt
-
If Connolly can stay fit he will be a class act, great finisher
-
Shame your Marketing People & Manager couldn't show the class you just did. Thanks for that will hope to see you next season (If I can get back!)

Had time to reflect. When the first went in I was at the keyboard looked skywards. arms raised with a huge surge of relief not a word just phew as the breath I had been holding since half time came out. The second, I heard what sounded like build up play Lallana and oh a looping header from Fonte & like others I was sure it was an own goal, followed by the same look heavenwards the same arms raised but this time the emotion was one on just knowing that was THE most important moment of our season so far. The GF was left to the running around shrieking just a yes from me. And now, as a marketing & branding type, I just look at what those morons tried to do with their pre-match music, the banners, the lack of handshake and it simply shows what happens when you let 16 year old Job Experience people run your Media Management & Marketing. I bet Jordan Sibley is while laughing at the sheer amateurness of it all. It's what you would expect from some 5th tier Non-League club on their big cup day against a BSQ team. And to think that their FANS lapped it up. You know what? If laughing at the sheer ineptitude of them is arrogance then I'll take that every time. Childish, Amateur bunch of idiots. Your results showed you deserved to win the League, but being true Champions takes a small modicum of class. The only class they know anything about is the last 3 letters of that word
-
Are they dead yet? Still, some good news for them (and us) We do know one thing pretty much for certain from our awareness of their financial plight. Cottrill will be there next season. In fact he's the safest manager in the whole Football League... 'cos ain't no way they have enough money to be able to fire him!
-
Hahahha what a c()ck the whole lot of them have been the past week(s)
-
It sounded clear that Brighton had taken that extra 5% off the gas and we should have made them pay in the 1st half, but we didn't and we gifted them a soft goal. Fair play to NA who sounded as if he tried at least 3 different tactical shapes to the game. Right now I really do not give a sh1t about the inevitable muppets who will come on and say we should have scored 10 or we aren't good enough or Pardew would have done it differently and we'd have been 4 up at half time We have that 2nd place and we have breathing space. Worried? Of course. Rather be in our position than Udders? feck yeah
-
Stew need stirring 15 mins ago Sod it We fecking did it! YESSSSSSS
-
Ohio Saint - genius what a last minute tactical change that was - totally left field
-
Never ever in Doubt
