It actually bears a stunning likeness to their previous owner. A mirage. Was it ever really there at all many will ask? Nice to see Matt Slater joining the spirit of things. Wonder what his lurker forum name is so he can keep up to date?

No way - that one goes all the way back to Gordon Lee, Frozen Pitch & Orange Football Palace - Because we all turned up at Elm Park one evening after our game was cancelled & joined in the Reading Fans Reading - because we took their end at a home game that didn't involve us and then (most) of the massive ran away after inciting Palace to 'ave a go

Better get a GPS tracking chip fitted under your skin so someone can find which lake your concrete overshoes get thrown into Oh and lol and the massive all on that site begging them to save the club this morning

Judgementalism. Live in a certain environment and expect the planet to match up to those standards. Thailand like almost every other country on the planet is DIFFERENT (hell that's why it makes life interesting). People are incredibly poor or incredibly rich. they do not have the same "Left / Right" view of politics have little or no support structures in place so the single motive in many people's lives becomes one of survival for them and their families. So some girl in a village in the remote parts of the country gets sold for sex trade? or a girl in Bangkok gets pregnant and needs to care for her child. There are no other ways to survive that they can see. Of COURSE they will become best friends and loving companions to a Falang, it's a meal ticket for their entire village. SOME people even get lucky and find real love rather than love you long time. ANY tourist who travels to ANY country and simply sees the brochure or what the package tour guide shows them is a fool. Everywhere is crooked and corrupt and dangerous to the naive. Understand the planet, observe. The planet simply cannot burn the resources needed to give 100 billion people Disability Benefits for life or free medical care. People get into trouble all over the world. There is normally one common denominator which comes down to much the same thing - They're pretty damned thick Should set up similar sites for the tourists ripped off on Tottenham Court Road, murdered on holidays in Florida etc. This is how the real world is.

From where we stand now, I think we should give more credence to the many utterances from the club about the last Window. OK we did not make major signings. BUT the word was that we did try for polayers but their clubs wanted stupid money for them (no doubt aided by the AOC rumours) Many on here demanded Charlie Austin or CMS but for whatever reasons they were not available to us. So we ended up with temporary squad members. We may have been lucky to have got a great run out of LB &the emergence of DC from the treatment room, so it IS fair to say that for THIS season we haven't needed more than we got. (OK for sure our bums are still squeaky but our record since January is pretty fecking good and we don't get extra points for more goals) So NOW we should be able to go into a season in the NPC with the likes of Forte & N'Guessan having been assesed in our own environment as to whether they can make the grade OR we can simply send them back and BUY better replacements for a better job. Hell, for all we know in June, Adebayor, Drogba & Gerrard may all be looking to take a spell in the NPC on loan so would have been stupid to sign players that made our L1 team stronger when it already (seemed) good enough. It comes down to the fact that many fans do not TRUST the club still. It's why I think the Sash shirt is so important as it really shows that things have changed. We have 3 games to go and need to win 2 of them. In the games since the end of the window from my quick maths we have dropped ONLY 12 points out of a total of 54. That's a pretty fecking good number, would we REALLY have got value for a 4mil player? Would that have affected the Team dynamic which has been so important of late?

The fact was that before Admin many people tried to find new owners. The club's shares valued the business at around 20/30mil and it had a debt of around 25/30 mil (approximate gang as I cannot be arsed to google the exact numbers) So at that time (during the BOOM years) the club would cost around 50mil to acquire and then needed investment. Nobody could see a "business value" in that even with our infrastructure. And yet THAT is what the Skates are trying to get (in the RECESSION years) Once the shareholder value was destroyed (the many fans as well as the "unmentionables") and a deal could be done on the main debt (stadium mortgage) then the deal to buy the club became a commercial no brainer. So yes we did get a "competitve benefit" from Admin as that cost of buying the club with it's debt was all but gone leaving more funds potentially available to invest in the team and infrastructure. (OR it meant we were more "affordable") We were lucky somehow NC found about about the "deal" and talked Marcus into it. But we don't have a Superiority Complex, we ARE superior and we will prove that when we win the CL final in 8 years time Won't we?

No, they REALLY want to buy a football club. They just have a very interesting character trait. They are so successful and so knowledgeable that they don't need to listen to a single thing anyone tells them But still, like many have said, you couldn't make this one up could you. Could you? No really, no. Oh and one analysis for you all.... Deal was agreed month ago. Price has gone up 3mil. What does that ACTUALLY tell us? Yep that the burn rate at the few is 3mil a MONTH give or take. Of COURSE that was the price a month ago, but they've spent more money on wages (and not had many ST sales) so OBVIOUSLY Chinny is out of pocket again. So even with the benefit of the doubt that the deal was done 2 months ago, the few are blowing 1.5mil a MONTH Oops, they REALLY need the Russians

Flew out of here at 4am and landed the morning of the game. Stayed at the Marriott & first person I saw was Rupert. Met up with the Salisbury lads down in the city centre Hilton (and found they had met all the players who were staying there nagrumpf) We had a great day bumbling around the city & bars/restaurants I remember the walk up that muddy slope into the corner of the ground, got the Dubai Saints flag in position (it came back REALLY clean) and saw the fit copper and the banter. the thing I remember was not just the rain (which I am convinced came upwards as well during the game), but it was about feeling so goddamed utterly totally COLD as well as wet. No sign of taxis or buses after the game so walked back up the road about a mile or so to the Marriott with some waif's & strays, we had a beer in Champions sports bar while we dried out by which time there were taxis again and we headed down to the Hilton & the English Pub. What a surreal evening that was. No idea what time we finished but I found myself walking some English Teacher back to her flat in the rain. think I got back to my hotel in time to pack for my flight back home, was so shattered never even had the energy to do the sightseeing stuff. Cracking trip though, and strangely I have almost no recollection of the actual game at all!

Introductory complimentary Heineken Grilled Mediterranean vegetable terrine with Spicy bean salsa & gazpacho dressing. Chicken Roulade with sundried tpmato, capiscum and spinach stuffing, savoy cabbage, potato puree, chicken jus. Orange cheese caks, chocolate ganache, orange reduction. Washed down with a selction of Aresto Chilean Merlot & Sauvignon Blanc at my awards dinner this evening. None of which were as sweet as the moment AFTER I had boarded my taxi home, tolld the driver where to go and burst into Jose Fonte Baby.... Tell you what though gang, it's one HELL of a lot easier listening on Saints player than it is relying on txt messages Well done Nige & the guys, is it just me or is it just us fans who are the only people who don't REALLY believe we are going to do this? -
ha Saints player had been happily working - interestingly the sync with 96.1 was actually spot on always thought it had a delay. OK enjoy the 2nd half guys. Off to work
