If you are a local you can get a Booze Licence that is a get out of Jail Free Card, lets you use a Booze shop by the local supermarket (paying 30% tax mind you) Or you do what I did today and drive into the desert to a "Hole in The Wall" and buy about 500 quid's worth to last 4 months. Stolichnaya in Booze Shop 12 quid. Hole in the Wall 4 quid. Tsing Tao is our favourite canned beer and cheapest at 16 quid a case Pint in a pub is now around 5.50 up to 7 quid depending where you go.
