If Trump wins, I can see a lot of chatter about him being able to run for a third term, legitimately. Both Reagan and Clinton thought the 22 Amendment should be changed and so does Trump. Part of his argument will be that he didn't lose the 2020 election and so was denied the benefits of consecutive administrations.

No one refused to accept the Brexit result in the way Trump refused to accept the election result, that was the point.

FFS it's a simple concept. There's not accepting a vote because you're pissed off it happened, then trying democratically to change it. Which people are entitled to do, just like the people who campaigned for it in the first place. You're demonising democratic processes. Then there's claiming that the election result is false because it was a fix, trying to find a way to overturn the result and rallying your supporters to storm the capital building to kill Mike Pence.

The only scenario where Biden isn't the candidate is if he pulls out. I can see that happening. I suppose the only other scenario is if he dies. Biden and his team were wrong not stepping away.

They are different things. The 'panic' now is that the Dems, because of the perception of Biden, are conceded too much to Trump in the election. That was Biden's one chance to shut that down, he failed. Biden's performance in public over his term doesn't correlate with the performance of the Democrat administration, the figures are good, despite what the little tiktoc videos say.

I don't know if this is unprecedented, but it's certainly unusual. But it's obviously they need to stand Biden down. There will have been loads of manoeuvring behind the scenes over the last year, there will be candidates ready to take it on.

I think there is another twist to come yet.

Biden fucking up may be the best thing to happen. Move him on, a new younger candidate would smash Trump.

To uphold human rights you need something to uphold them and something to test policy against and something that can't be changed easily.

Confused again. You do know that if someone supports a party or politician they don't always support everything they believe in. Also you do know that not everything that a party or politician advocates becomes policy or laws. I know that limits your hypocrisy gotchas that you are obsessed with.
