  1. We stand together across the globe to change the world, we kneel together in peace and solidarity asserting Black people are treated as equals to White people. It is a human right to receive racial equality, social and criminal justice in the societies we live and to receive parity as full citizens of the country and as a united nation. We are a non-political, non-partisan, non-violence platform. Some content published on our website may have limited political content by the very nature of a country state governed and under a system of democracy. We operate in a humanitarian capacity and concern before all else. We are not operating in a political capacity, are not a member of nor are we connected with any political party or political campaign. From that link, they are nice words we can all get behind. Yes.
  2. You give broad reasons why the players might be kneeling it but one reason why people boo. The truth is there will be a range of reasons why people boo too. And no it's not clear.
  3. If your wife will let you, fill your boots.
  4. Yes, there are people that think it's just performative. Is this your mate's position? The kneeling still means something but it can easily mean nothing, if it's not backed up.
  5. That would be positive booing, I'm all for that.
  6. The political maxist argument is nonsence. Come up with a better defence of the booing than that.
  7. Was that directed at me, who five posts before asked what are they booing for.
  8. We know that BLM was going before the England knee. England never ever took the knee to support political BLM they took the knee the support the simple sentiment of the three words, Black Lives Matter. An England team that represents all the people in England, who represents all the black players who play and have played for them. When have the corporate England team ever done a political gesture, so why woukd they start now. Their kneeling was never political. There simple gesture was perverted by people ignori g the noble message and trying to connect it with political BLM. You link the two things togethet in your mind if you want, I'm happy to keep it simple. In my mind the England boys are doing it for racial unity and social justice and that's a nice thing, isn't it.
  9. No there isn't to me. It's a simple peaceful gesture that has century's old associations not just political BLM. You can ascribe that BLM baggage to if you want or ignore it if you want.
  10. People should boo and own it, not hide behind some political marxist nonsense argument.
  11. Because in that moment people believed in the meaning of those three simple words, nothing more nothing less. The whole thing got perverted and England backed away from it. Yet people still boo. I think its a shame that people think that the knee is discredited and that's the only reason to not get behind the cause, it's like hating Children in Need because Pudsey only has one eye.
  12. What are they really kneeling for then and what are they really booing at then.
  13. They haven't got BLM on their shirts anymore, they've explained that they are not kneeling for a political cause but for a socual justice cause. Isn't that enough. Kneeling is Colin Kaepernick's jesture. The booing has backed the team into a corner, they can't give in to it. I think the knee would have naturally come to and end after this tournament, who knows now.
  14. So you think people who are booing don't want England to stop taking the knee.
  15. So even though Southgate has said that taking the knee is a show of team unity for social justice and nothing to do with BLM, people want it banned because some people who support BLM maybe marxists. Talk about cancel culture.
  16. It's not a question of caring about England over Southampton but caring that one of our guys gets to fulfill his ambitions.
  17. Hello, Ben White play's for Brighton.
  18. And Utilita have been a club affiliate for years, we couldn't not do business with them all for the sake of anothet red and white striped team.
  19. We are at 50% for second dose, we'll be there by the 21st.
  20. The percentage required depends on how contagious the virus is and for covid its believed to be 65-70%. We are not at that figure yet, but galloping towards it.
  21. Added to this, restrictions have been lifted in line with the levels of vaccination. I can't really see what the problem here is.
  22. I believe the critical mass is two vaccines at 65-70% level. Hence why we are opening up on the 21 June, so we are on target. Well done the NHS, they will get us out of this.
  23. You still need a critical mass to be vaccinated. You can't open up until you are at that point. It depends what the future strains are like, if they are not affected by the vaccine then it's back to square one. If they have mild affects, then we will be ok to stand at the bar.
  24. Isn't that what we are moving towards, no restrictions from the 21st June. Unless the D variant kicks in. You are moaning that nothing is changing, whilst things are changing.
