  1. I love you Prowsey
  2. It really is shit and £70.
  3. I want to do that at least 1 game out of 4.
  4. It did go a bit wrong for him as he never again hit the heights that he did in those couple of seasons with Southend and us. He went out on loan at 28 and dropped down the divisions, never hitting double figures again.
  5. Get Emma Hayes, great win ratio.
  6. So what you are saying, people have the right to be opinionated but others can't be opinionated back. When I liked the post I didn't think I was joining a posse, blimey and they call the left snowflakes. I do love the way people claim victimhood in these kind of arguments. But the thing I can't get my head around in these type of arguments when someone stands up for something they believe in, they get a vitrolic reaction from others for the type of stand whilst they also profess to hate the thing the person is taking a stand against as well.
  7. Visited my mate in uni there years ago, kicking out time was a battlefield.
  8. Just caught the end of some chat on Five Live, talking about how all the messy shirts have sold out.
  9. Adams and Armstrong have had different football upbringing, one from non-league and from the top flight. So you would expect Armstrong to be technically superior, Adams has made it as he has attributes that have covered for his one footedness. It's always a gamble taking a championship striker, but surely you lessen the gamble by getting one who has a good pedigree and is bagging goals. Spending lots of money is equally a gamble, I reckon we will get better value from Armstrong than West Ham did from Haller.
  10. Yes, but someone else had already pointed it out 🙄
  11. The song is alright, it's the moves that are suspect.
  12. Not for me or a lot of other people, https://shewore.com/2017/08/05/is-the-community-shield-a-real-trophy/ It's a good spectacle and one I'd loved Saints to be in. But its just a pre season charity match. Leicester celebrated a bit too hard yesterday, thinking that way probably makes me sound miserable.
  13. I was always Phil Boyer when kicking the ball about in the garden and always getting the last minute winner against Man U. Moved on to Moran and then Clarke. We seemed to play Northern Ireland a bit whilst he was with us, so I was Clarke a lot in the playground smashing in another tennis ball hat trick. The late 70's and 80's were brilliant, made school in a town outside of Southampton pretty good. My boy is having the opposite experience.
  14. Went to Gillingham v Lincoln yesterday. Dan Nlundulu wasn't playing for Lincoln, possibly injured but Ben Reeves came on for the last 20 minutes for Gillingham. Looked technically good but had little impact on the game, looks skinny next to all the bulked up footballers.
  15. I agree with MLG too, we normally cycle between yellow, white and blue/black, with the odd green or brown outlier. I was trying to trigger MLG, normally the word traditional in a kit thread sends him/her fruity.
  16. It's our traditional away kit.
  17. Would a sell on clause be a part of a buy back clause, seems pointless.
  18. It used to be that you can only be registered with two clubs in a season, this would stop anyone buying someone and moving them on straight away.
  19. Look at the forum hard men getting stroppy because someone else is a bit excited, insane.
  20. Attitude has been cited by people for years, normally by people a million miles away from being a professional footballer. But these boys wouldn't have got so far with a shit attitude. Also they have been winners all their footballing lives, then they get to a place where they start to struggle, so of course they are going to come across a bit challenged and blame it on something, thats how competitive people cope. The truth is normally that they are just not good enough.
  21. The conspiracy addled mind is really fascinating. Because someone did a speech about population growth they are cast as the villain of the whole pandemic. There is no other evidence, just a passing interest in demography.
  22. The answer is one of; Rejoin single market Border in Irish Sea Give up Nothern Ireland EU to accept a opening in their border
  23. It was a chance for Cummings to play out his theories, fuck the real world and fuck real people. He just needed a buffoon to ride. He is an adherent of the OODA loop decision making theory used by the American military. The yanks found that the OODA loop may be good at winning wars but it's useless at winning the peace. And the Brexiteers are finding the same. What were the chances of an unelected power hungry maniac and a tory buffoon coming along at the same time. Thinking about it, probably very high.
  24. Right on cue the soilder deepest in the jungle, with branches tied to his back and two lines of soot smeared under his eyes, appears.
