Its uncanny, almost as if Robinson was Chanrai's place man inveigled into the trust to derail their bid at a critical moment.....

Not sure company no. 04113822 is the right one GM. Both Pompey based but this one was a small telecoms company with one Ronald Longstaff and wife as directors.

Its not just the multiple light sources, its the whole perspective of the astronauts on the lunar surface which looks unconvincing.

Agree with this. Im already confident we'll finish ahead of Reading and QPR- but Sunderland, Newcastle, Villa and Wigan, not so much.

Argos Display Cabinet - used, cheap, need out of way!
buctootim replied to Michelle's topic in Buy / Sell
Probably doesnt have to be Argos, other Greek Gods would do. Athena is ok for pictures and Hermes some nice suits, but wouldn't bother with Hades, didnt like it at all. -

Its honourable of you to highlight the work of the only photographer focussing on her face. Good work Tokes. -
NASA put more money into the space program than Virgin put into your PAYG?

I tried these once. They were disgusting, all dried out - though tbf I guess thats not surprising after 43 years.

Bart Sibrel is the name of the guy who has made the two 'debunking' films Pap is talking about and is the guy punched by Buzz Aldrin. Sibrel had lied to him to get Aldrin to a hotel to talk about a Japanese kids programme. Sibrel's expertise and qualifications to attack NASA presumably comes from his day job working as a Nashville taxi driver.

The whole report was a bit odd. People died at Hillsborough because a gate was opened and fans surged forward down basically a funnel into a stand where there was nowhere for the additional people to go as the perimeter fencing stopped people escaping and releasing the pressure. It was the fencing which was the killer and Hillsborough would still have likely happened even with seats in place.

In many ways it would actually be safer than the current setup of mixing in those who want to stand with those who want to sit - just breeds arguments and fights that way.

Tokyo is right. Its just a snidey low rent article seeking to put someone down to fill space. She used to be a good actress, not stunningly beautiful but talented. Then she got ill and hasnt worked much since. Cue DM taking a picture of her looking rough because she used to be famous 20 years ago.

Thirteen clubs are backing a call to trial re-introducing terracing - which is something I'd like to see. Im surprised more clubs havent joined in so far. You tend to get much better atmosphere on terraces and there are lots of ways to make standing safe. Bring it back or are memories of Hillsborough / Heysel too much? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20679867

UK census, post here to blame immigrants for all your shortcomings!
buctootim replied to norwaysaint's topic in The Lounge
Thats true, but the big difference is that Norway invested the profits from oil and gas in a sovereign wealth fund so that the benefits will be had in perpetuity. Instead we decided to spend it all as soon as we got it and blew it all on day to day recurrent expenditures. -

The trouble with the immigration debate is that usually someone ventures that mass immigration isnt a good thing, shortly followed by charges of xenophobia / racism. Importing an extra 4 million people in 10 years with a housing and employment shortage doesnt make sense, especially when the majority are low skill profile. Ive got several foreign friends (russian, US, French) who have made trips to London in the few years who when asked how they liked it all gave basically the same answer - meh its was okay but it was full of foreigners and almost no British, not what we came for. -
Probably on the basis that the judge would take a dim view of claiming one wildly optimistic thing publicly but having to 'fess up to the real number in court.

Great find. Really enjoyed that.

Just checked and you're right. Lost a year somewhere. Dunno. Has been playing this season, was in injured in November but played since.

Gorkss too, after we changed our minds for some reason.
