Dickson might turn out to be good but I cant see why people are getting so excited about a 23 year old who has played 24 first team games in five seasons, all at Lg1 or below. Bit injury prone too. Harding will remain as first choice LB with Dickson as cover for him and at left midfield too imo.

These are good. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201019359049103/sort/locasc/usedcars/fuel-type/diesel/price-from/6000/price-to/10000/body-type/coupe/maximum-mileage/up_to_60000_miles/model/407/make/peugeot/page/1/postcode/so143as/radius/1500?logcode=p

Good job the police confiscated all those shirts UK customers have paid for, in order to stop them getting ripped off.

I used to work with a guy who told a story about visiting a friend in Botswana. They were driving down the highway at night too fast when the lights picked out a herd of elephants crossing the road. They braked hard but still crashed into a baby elephant, which ran off trumpeting. The Botswanan he was with told him to get out of the car and run - which they did - staying hidden in the bush until morning. When they came back to the car it had been stomped flat by the adult elephants.

Is the Audi R8 Diesel and Alpina BMW as cool as the petrol variant - maybe not because in most high performance cars the petrol engine will give more driving pleasure. But to say that a well designed, fast car cant be be cool simply because its a diesel when you rave about many other 'lesser' petrol cars is blinkered imo. Many multi valve petrol engines have narrow power bands so the difference between them and a diesel isnt as great as you make out.
-
Just a thought but maybe its because the diesel is faster and puts out more torque and power than either the V8 or V10?
-
Yeah you're right of course. http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/carreviews/firstdrives/219750/audi_r8.html

Alpina make a cool BMW diesel. http://www.bmwalpina.co.uk/ww/models-uk/d3-biturbo.html

But you can be a great player and still be a ****wit. If MLT turned out to have been a kiddy fiddler he would still have been the greatest ever (probably) Saints player but also a total slimeball. Gascoigne was a great player and a ****ed up individual. They arent mutually exclusive.
-
I'd rather he was sentenced to death and the £700,000 saved was used for health or education services.
-
Looks like an EasyJet special edition.
-
I dont think that is an option in the sentencing guidelines.

Maggie was very good PM as was Blair. Major was disaster but not as much as Brown (except for his first three years as Chancellor).

Are we still talking about your first sh ag or have we moved on to the puke?
-
True. But it gives the party a chance to show how open, inclusive and representative the race was before the white middle class oxbridge guy wins.
-
Are you deliberately obtuse BTF? Im beginning to suspect so. There is a big difference between flying from Gatick to a destination and back again and having planes and crew based in europe permanently.
-
Well as long as you are consistent and not posturing in any way I guess thats fine
-
saw part of it - clip starts well after the spat did.
-
Err. No its not. BA do not have operating hubs in Europe. It makes no more sense for BA staff to fly into work than it does for Crawley Hilton staff to jet in from Milan.
-
My ex who works for BA is Swedish living in Brighton - she speaks four languages. Her BA friends are Spanish, French and Italian living in Brighton or Crawley. The same applies to American Express. Hope that helps.
-
This. Plus the union are dumping on their own members at Gatwick and London City who get paid less, arent striking - but will be screwed by the fallout from this strike.
-
You dont need to have to live abroad to speak a foreign language. American Express' European call centre is in Brighton. They have staff speaking 30 languages. Last I heard they seemed to be doing just fine.
-
But that is the point - you ARE going with the blind herd - just the left herd rather than the right.
-
BTF - I know your heart is in the right place - but sadly you have become one of those posters where you know exactly what they are going to say on any political / economic issue. What happened to free thought and open mindededness. Take everything on a case by case basis?
-
No. but I see from Wiki he used to work for Ocean Trading, a company supplying ships with provisions, as did I. They had a base in West Quay road. Oh how our careers have diverged!
