  3. Got to ask. You left or right?
  4. Apart from literally being redundant since the administrator will be fulfilling most of Storries functions - how can they keep on a CEO who has been charged with criminal wrongdoing at the club - ie tax evasion? Stinks of something - dead fish proabably.
  5. No its not. Economicly viable with oil at $70 a barrel - and its currently at $80 and going higher. Anyway nearly all future UK wind farms will be at least 12 miles offshore where most people will never see them. http://energyclub.wesp.oli.nl/?q=content/wind-power-record-spain-537-total-electricity-demand
  6. Dear old Dune and Wes, opinions not confused by too many facts. Ooh look. There we are, high tax Britain, at 22nd place just below the US for personal taxation (and dont forget in the US you have to pay for your own healthcare). http://www.nationmaster.com/graph/tax_tot_tax_wed_sin_wor-total-tax-wedge-single-worker or 132nd if you want to look at corporate taxation http://www.nationmaster.com/graph/tax_tot_tax_rat_of_pro-taxation-total-tax-rate-profit and 29th for total tax burden, sandwiched between Malta and Romania. http://www.photius.com/rankings/tax_burden_country_ranks_2009.html

  8. Its almost as if they are advertising their guilt. "Clearly we need to save the most money we can but I cant let these people go because they have threatened to spill the beans if I do. Instead they will focus on cleaning up the paper trail and drawing large salaries for as long as we can get away with it. That nice disgraced lawyer from Fuglers is also helping"

  10. Personally I wouldnt do the hair transplant thing. It might look good for a few months or even years but the hair around the transplant will probably continue to fall out, so you can end up with an Alice Band of hair across the front of your hairline and nothing behind it. Then if you shave your head to look uniform all the scars will show up. If Minoxidil (sold as Regaine) doesnt work, I'd live with it and spend the $3,200 having the time of a lifetime in Thailand.
  11. Doesnt seem fair given the 200% increase in his workload.
  12. Could have saved all of them if they'd sacked him 6 years ago.
  13. I know. The internet, space travel, antibiotics, mobile phones, high speed trains, sat nav, MRI scans, anti-lock brakes, organ transplants and anti-depressants. All ********, especially the last one which doesnt seem to work at all.

  15. There you go. Nothing to get excited about http://keywestmugshots.com/115367
  16. Its around $10 to eat lunch in a deli - depends how much you eat because you usually pay by weight and around $12 in a diner. Expect to pay $20 upwards for dinner. How much that is compared to UK depends on the exchange rate - what that will be when you go is anyones guess. At the moment its around $1.50 to the £1 but in the past 18 months or so its fluctuated from $1.35 to $2.14. At current rates NY is roughly equivalent to London prices. Weirdly cant remember how much beer is. If you are on a budget consider this self catering apartment place - great location, basic but clean and cheap. http://www.radiocityapts.com/
  17. Agree. Also by advertising in the FT they are trying to tap into the 'serious' market who obviously will be unaware of any unfair and adverse comment about PFC in the downkmarket media like all the broadsheets, tabloids, radio and tv.

When I was 11 I had friend the same age who was so hormone charged by puberty he was seriously thinking about raping somebody and tried to enlist my help. I dont think he ever thought about how she would feel, just the chances of getting caught. It never happened, although I know he seriously thought about it for around six months. By 15 he had a regular girlfriend and went on to marry and have a couple of kids with no problems and no convictions and was an all round nice guy at the snooker club and Tory party club house (as far as that is possible). Died at 38 from cancer. Some people will say thats coincidence and some will say he was evil and got his just desserts.
  21. as (good as a wink)
  22. As matter of interest what happened to all the Aviva and Barclays debts when Saints got taken over. Were they paid in full or just 'x' in the pound?
