I'm just grateful to have a football club to support; a board which wants us to pay our way and not be saddled with ultimately unsustainable debts; a youth policy which means we get the more than occasional smattering of home produced talent and anchors the club to the community; a reputation for playing the game the right way. Everything else is a bonus.

The issue he's got is that he's too open for some on here. Also peoples need to look at what he actually says, and not what they think he says. The other issue he has is that he doesn't yet talk in the footballing vernacular, in a "the boys done good" kind of way. He'll learn.

Young English talent (Redmond, Ings), up and coming European talent, England squad goalkeepers, top Eridivisie players, CL winners, players good enough for ManU and Inter Milan, all have been slated on here.

However, if you were to do it, buying a football league team (where there is already the MK Dons precedent) for a fraction of the price and then gain promotion to the EPL is the way to go. someone like a Bolton or a Blackpool, or a Wigan.

Bar the top 4/5, doesn't every club have a **** back-up keeper? I love the Holy Goalie, but we all know he's prone to a rick or two, and his kicking is pretty poor. There is no way he'll stay on the bench.
