Plus, of course, the cash burn was unsustainable, and the investment required in wages and fees to make the step beyond 8th-6th is, was, and will be beyond us.

I think we also will need to appreciate that in the short term it might mean he brings in players he knows and trusts, and who know each other. They may not be players who we hope or expect, but it is about building a team.

The next question is which club in another country would both want him and be able to afford him?
