The EFL need to introduce a new rule that stops clubs gaining promotion unless their finances are in order. It’s terrible for the fans of both clubs but teams that spent within their means have missed out on promotion because these 2 clubs mismanaged their finances. Mansfield sacked Flitcroft because he didn’t take them up when in reality they missed out by 3 points and Bury shouldn’t have been where they were.

Dell sized mentality. We had players in our side in 2010 that went on to play at the highest level (international and Champions League) and they smashed us because the rest of our squad got outclassed in the end. They haven’t got a single player that will reach those heights, we would embarrass them home or away.

Vestergaard was at fault for all 3 goals in my opinion. The first goal is obvious. The second goal Barnes was his man to pick up, he was stood between the 2 marking nobody, he had no idea where Barnes was and as a result was completely beaten by the cross which he made no attempt to defend. Bertrand also should have given him a shout and told him to pick Barnes up. The 3rd goal he got bullied out of what should have been an easy header to win, and then too slow to get back and defend, didn’t make any attempt to tackle or at least block the shot once he got close. Useless player.

What has that go to do with what I said? It was offside and it was flagged offside. That goal doesn’t stand in any season of football ever. Its only this season that it’s not blown dead. VAR was only used to make sure the linesman had seen it correctly.

That was nothing to do with VAR. the linesman flagged it offside, wouldn’t have stood VAR or not. They only checked the linesman was correct
