The second time that a genuine racist term has been used on this forum and nothing has been done about it. Now I don’t really understand the difference between “person of colour” and “coloured person” but we need to move with the times.

Some people have very short memories and seem to have forgotten just how bad things had got under Ralph. We were on a run at the end of last season that was just as bad as anything we’ve seen this season. Anyone that thinks this season would have been different if he had stayed longer is kidding themselves.

We were down weeks ago. Who cares about today. The point is the players put on a big show that they loved the manager and then haven’t played for him.

He’s been let down massively by a squad of players that aren’t interested. What the fuck was that show all about after the win at Chelsea? They made it look like they were a squad united, fully behind the manager and ready to turn a corner. The reality is that they knew they would get an easy ride under Selles and they could coast through the rest of the season with no effort. They can all get fucked. That being said, we need a complete overhaul for the Championship and that includes a new manager.

McCarthy only knew how to make saves that landed directly into the path of another opposition player to tap it home. It’s no different whatsoever.

I’m hoping for a better atmosphere and more enjoyable experience going to games when all the “fans” that are there to see the opposition more than Saints and just clap a goal all go back to watching football on Sky Sports. I’m hoping for more affordable tickets. I’m hoping for a squad of players that want to play for Southampton Football Club rather than those that have joined us for either the money and/or to get themselves in the shop window for the top 6. I don’t think we’ll ever get anything like we had 2009-2012 but we can dream. Winning more games than we lose would be nice too but I’d happily stay in the Championship for a few years as long as the club was stable financially (probably not realistic)
