Who is going to want the job? Bottom of the league with a tough run in, fans with a very short fuse at the moment and a squad devoid of fight, team spirit and confidence. There will inevitably be a mass exodus in the summer after relegation and some tough years to follow. There can’t be many less attractive jobs in football at the moment. Last summer was the last point we could attract someone half decent and the board decided to continue with Ralph.

The Ralph stuff is infuriating. If they knew he needed to be sacked in the summer and he’d lost the dressing room what was the point in a) rolling the dice hoping things would miraculously change b) forcing a formation on him that nobody wanted further alienating the squad and wasting an entire pre season trying it out and c) end that entire period with Nathan Jones being the number 1 target to replace him. Catastrophic mis management that ultimately somebody needs to be sacked for.

Anyone gambling their money on this board doing the sensible thing has got money to burn quite frankly.

They will get a “big” fine which will be completely insignificant to their owners, which will probably be reduced upon appeal and they will carry on as they have been until they get caught again.
