Signing a player for £12m for his 'potential' when you're in your first season back in the Premier League, and survival in the main objective, is a dangerous game to play. Hopefully we stay up and he shines next season. But there's no denying he hasn't performed anywhere close to his pricetag. Flashes of brilliance, but a lot of misplaced passes, awful set pieces, wild shots and a general lack of interest at times are not what we needed this season, not when there was better value for money out there. If we go down we'll be very, very lucky to get a return on our investment.

When we're in a relegation battle, perhaps.

I don't get this myth that all we played in league one and the championship was 4-4-2. We regularly played 2 or 3 different formations in any one game, when things weren't going our way or to close a game out. The diamond we played quite regularly at one point was practically a 4-3-3 at times with Lambert's tendency to drift out wide. -

Wasn't the last season ticket payment this week? Coincidental, or perfect timing for Cortese? -

Puncheons goal is rightly getting all the plaudits, but take nothing away from Lamberts header. That wasn't an easy header, he was moving away from goal, and the power and precision he got was right out of the top drawer. -
I must've been watching a different game to you. Because on a few occasions he failed to call for easy catches resulting in Hooiveld putting it out for an unnecessary corner, and others making rash clearances putting us under increased pressure.
-
Yes how strange that the spine of our team, who are in their 4th season together, perform together consistently well.
-
He's only played like a £12m footballer in 2 games, 3 if I'm being generous. More often than not he's just not very good. If he came here to use us as a stepping stone to a bigger PL club, he's not doing a very good job of it.

Jack Cork. Doesn't particularly do anything special that will stand out to the 'skills school' mongs, but he was outstanding. One of the best tacklers we've had in years.
-
What potential? He's quick, that's about all there is to say about him. It's the same crap we had with Antonio, he beats a few average full backs with his pace and suddenly he's the next big thing.

Rising beer prices, and a growing trend of bands choosing to go to places like Wedgewood Rooms and Old Fire Station because they can sell more tickets. It's hardly surprising Pat's struggling. Would be a huge shame to see it go.

As long as the washing machine is outside of zone 2 (0.6m away from the bath/sink/shower) you can do it the way you said. BUT, it has to be supplied by a switched fused spur, not a socket, and protected by a 30mA RCD. Unless you have a huge bathroom and can fit a socket 3m away from said bath/sink/showers.
-
Depends how big his bathroom is.

What happens if Spurs score their 3rd goal in that minute?
-
After one sub appearance? Some said the same about Lambert..
-
It's got nothing to do with goals. We have nobody that can come on to replace Lambert that can hold the ball up, keep it in their half and keep the pressure off our back 4.
-
Which if he hadn't of bottled, Rodriguez was waiting to be slipped in for a 1 on 1. Whether he would've scored that remains to be seen, I've seen nothing from him to suggest he can score goals in the PL. Should never have let Sharp go.

Cortese subs are always awful, what's new?

How many tactical mistakes is Adkins allowed?

What a bunch of spoilt brats our fans are. -
Pardon? You belong in that first group.
-
I'd stick him on the bench.
-
Telling Fox to man mark wouldn't make a single bit of difference, he's never anywhere near the left back area anyway. Unless it's to receive the ball so he can play a world cup final pass to nobody.
-
I don't think getting Neville in to help would do much. Coaching isn't our problem, it's a lack of good defenders.

At least we won't see his Porsche parked in disables spaces across the city now.
