Bet that scared him! -
Might just be me (an IT illiterate!), but I find that steam, slows my computer down. I used it when it first appeared, but not since, much quicker without it.

Cortese said: "Selling Alex was one of the saddest moments for me. "I didn't want to sell him and I still feel it was not right, whether I got a good deal in the end or not. "But it is hard when you have a player who wants to leave and I could see signs it was getting to him. "So I rang Ivan Gazidis to sort it out. "I said 'Meet me face to face and if we can't agree a deal within an hour promise me you will walk away and never come back.' "Ivan agreed and turned up flanked with lawyers while I sat there on my own. "He made me an offer and I flatly refused it and instead told him what I wanted. "He went away for a while to discuss it with his team and then came back and we got the deal done. It was a good deal for us but a sad day. Fan...bl00dy tastic. See Hypo found yet another thread to troll on, why entertain him MLG, he is what he is, and that's not a bus passenger. -
Harrison said: 'The days of parents being offered fridges are a thing of the past - now it's cars, houses and cash. Some of them just come out with it up front and ask for the money - staggering. In many ways they deserve it because they have been watching their son in rain, sleet and snow since he was seven years old. 'The better the player, the more you look after their parents - it becomes a business decision. I've had to buy young players cars in the past. If they're good, it happens.' Still wondering why the AOC saga rumbled on!

Or you can believe this............ The U.K.'s Financial Services Authority (FSA) has barred Lithuania's Snoras bank from opening a branch in the country because "it repeatedly gave misleading and incomplete," answers to the regulator. The FSA also criticized the largest shareholder of the Lithuanian bank, Vladimir Antonov, for providing the authority with misleading information. Snoras, which was first refused a U.K. license in February 2008,

Just love our 'modern' fans..........did we boo Channon when he left, no! Stevie Williams, no! would you boo AL OR RL if they left?, some on here need to grow up imo.

This story, is getting fishy now!
-
This cannot be true! Some on here, and I use Hypo as an example, claim that players and agents find it difficult to negotiate with NC, hence the fact, we made no significant signings this summer (apart from all the re-negotiated contracts, and the likes of Cork DeRidder etc)

Sat lunchtime.

De Ridder playing well it seems, two of there players booked already for fouls on him. Get in!

He doesn't need to, he's showing as a full member!

Nothing really to complain about from what was said. Actions speak louder than words though and Pompey fans have seen too many false dawns to be fooled easily but if they're true to their words I'll be happy enough. Agree with all of this, especially the Manure bit. This has all been fulled by the money pumped in by the CL, which is why in general, the top four are the top four, and why they get into Europe year after year. Summed up here by Fowllyd..... Perhaps if the biggest European teams píss off and form their own little super-duper league, it may just have the effect of removing some of the worse features of the current Premier League, all the more so if there's no chance of promotion to said super-duper league. Personally I'd like to see that, and it won't surprise me one iota if it does happen.

What price Aldershot v Manure at trafford!

Just heard those two sky cast outs, talking on talksport, saying that the Championship is the third most watched league in the world, I'm happy with that!
-
No, they promised an arena, but already, this has been downgraded to a 'stadium'. What have you actually had, apart from spending money on players, as opposed to settling your debts, new toilets! You really are blind, if you think this is your new dawn, they are no better that what you had before, as eurosaint points out..... "In the past six-or-seven years around half-a-billion pounds was moving around the club You are what you are, a vehicle for washing money.

Blimey! after six months of banging on about backup, you have finally seen the light! Any player coming into this team now, needs to be capable of a first team place, we have the back up. Please count all those capable of playing up front, including the youth, remember them, the ones that NC is building the clubs fortunes on.
