Look at it this way... If you went back in time one day (let's call it Groundhog Day) do you think your day would end up exactly the same each and every time? Or would there be minor differences? If the people doing the draw had a conversation beforehand (which they obviously would have done) and that conversation lasted 10 seconds longer because they were discussing the brilliant come back from Saints after Rickie equalised with that sitter, then their hands and the bag of balls wouldn't have been in the same molecular position some 10 minutes later. That 10 seconds would have made all the difference. Time to cook dinner now (which may turn out differently because I've spent the last 30 seconds typing out this post...)

Careful Barry...don't forget what I've told you about mistakingly giving people the impression you have a persecution complex. Your reaction above is a line of defence that a genuine troll would typically use but, as we know, you aren't one. Don't give the doubters ammunition.

Possibly. But, from my point of view, yesterday's starting 11 was decent enough to get something from the game and, indeed, we were a sitter away from doing so (yes, I know ... "What ifs"...etc) To me, yesterday's 'problem' was an apparent lack of 'esprit de corps' from the players that were selected. If all the players that started had played near the top of their game then this forum would be a different place today. At the end of the day we "rested" 2 players (Boruc and Morgan). The other 4 were either 'like for like' swaps (Chambers/Clyne and Cork/Wanyama) or players not being 100% fit (JRod and Fonte). So, in summary, I don't personally have a concern about the team selection yesterday per se.

The mods won't ban Glasgow Saint because, like me, they know that he is as far removed from the profile of an internet troll as you can get. The mods, like me, abhor the constant persecution of one of this forum's greatest assets. I applaud the mods for ignoring the pleas of the misguided majority.
