Yes. We need a bigger stadium.

(a) fair point (b) How can transferring "debt" to a 0% credit card be less efficient than paying it off with my "rainy day" savings?

Conclusive proof right there that I'm not normal...

http://m.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/feb/26/newsstory.manchesterunited "We're scoring a lot of goals and, you never know, it could be an issue. We just want to make sure that, if it goes to goal difference, our own tally is good," said the United manager. "I've always said that having a superior goal difference is worth an extra point. It could be vital this season with the championship being so close."
-
I chuckled too
-
If Villa concede 2 more (and Utd keep a clean sheet) they'll have the worst goal difference in the premier league. #fact

My mum is aiming to win the world chess title this year

5 minutes later than I anticipated someone saying that.....

Pompey going to achieve a smaller number than first mooted? No change there then...

I think they should at least explain the inconsistencies in their punishment system... Going into administration or not coming out of administration without a CVA results in a punishment that can be carried over to the next season whereas failing to honour a CVA doesn't. Why the inconsistency?

Vergard Forren; do the club need to explain to the fans
trousers replied to Miltonroader07's topic in The Saints
If Forren wore the no.6 shirt in yesterday's u21s 3-3 vs WBA then his sloppy defending was to blame for 2 of the goals (from what I could see on the Saints Player footage earlier). Saints were cruising at 0-3 with 15 mins to go. -
I'm starting to enjoy this new PTS chapter already...

Surely the new owners would want to get off on the right moral footing and give a significant percentage of any future land sale windfalls back to the charities, tax payers and local businesses that have bent over backwards to allow them to even still exist in the first place? (aka those that voted for a ridiculously low % CVA to keep the club alive - excluding those from CVA1 who didn't get to vote on CVA2 of course...you know, the latest -10 "punishment" that Pompey received for not honouring CVA1....oh....)
-
Bear in mind that "overdue" status is for the annual DIRECTOR(S) return (AR01) not their annual tax return or suchlike. Its still a legal requirement that appears to have been overlooked though.
-
Do the millions of taxpayers, business and charities that have lost over £100m on your "cheerful" plunge down the leagues "get it" too....?
-
What's this? Portsmouth Community Football Club Limited committing a crime already...? http://www.bytestart.co.uk/annual-return-form-ar01.html "You are legally obliged to file an annual return as a limited company director, and will face penalties if you fail to do so, or file your return beyond 28 days of the company’s ‘made up date’. In fact, it is a criminal offence to fail to deliver your annual return on time."

As a lot of us have observed over the last week or so....Chainrai seemed to have left the scene with uncharacteristic humility and quietness. Hence concluding at the time that something doesn't add up. When the court case started (in parallel to dotting the i's and crossing the t's on the out of court settlement) the judge was highlighting areas of the case that seemed to be keeping the door open for the 'higher value' Harris bid - (e.g. "The Football League should be called into court tomorrow to explain their position") - so why didn't Chainrai's lawyers wait to see how that panned out before signing the out of court settlement? Why the rush on the day? The only reason I can see is that Chainrai felt the 'new' compromise agreement was equally or more attractive than the Harris bid... and why haven't we seen the details of the agreement? The details that the judge apparently said should be made public "as soon as possible"...? And, of course, as per usual, no one in Pompeyland deems it necessary to question the whys and wherefores of any financial dealings associated with the club.... Same old Pompey, same old fans....

Hmmm... @NabilHassan79: PST presser to unveil the new management team at the club put back from today to Wednesday. #pompey

Maybe they realise how meaningless the "punishment" is...

I see Seager scored his first goal for the U21s yesterday - good to see him being fast tracked through the ranks. The next Saints "goal machine"...? Btw, does anyone know how much input Pochettino is having in the U18s and U21s in terms of who gets selected for "fast tracking" or has he left that side of things alone thus far?
