  1. Yep, because comparing fine lines in a close result with season changing events is like-for-like...
  2. You do realise this isn't the place for pragmatism after we lose a game?
  3. If Lallana's effort had been a few inches to the right and Redmond's shot a few inches to the left this forum would be a completely different place last night and today. There's a fine line between love and despair
  4. 1 point from these 3 fixtures last year; 4 points from them this year. #progress

You know we're in trouble when THEVMAN joins in post-match chit chat rather than telling us who is in the starting line up or who we're signing next...

  7. I wouldn't put it quite as negatively as that but I wouldn't have had Lambert in the starting 11
  8. This. 3rd clear cut penalty decision to go against us this far this season.

  11. SWF logic: A narrow win and we're brilliant; a narrow defeat and we're sh1te The fickle world of internet football forums.
  12. I disagree. Yes, we weren't at our best but Norwich, as the home team, were equally benign most of the game. A draw wouldn't 'have been an unfair result for either side.
  13. Was at the game. 0-0 would have been a fair result. Both sides cancelled each other out. We need a midfielder who can create chances for our forwards....Banega anyone? Norwich....one clear cut chance in open play, one goal. A fine line between success and failure...
  14. 0-2 Every cloud...
  15. Talking of typical responses...
  16. I guess the 'problem' for Cork is that he's not what you would call an 'impact sub'. So, if he can't get in the starting 11 he's not necessarily going to be a good option off the bench unless we're looking to consolidate a game. So, maybe Cork is more likely to be a sub versus the 'bigger' teams where we'll be happier playing for a draw than vs the likes of Norwich where MP would be expecting a win.
  17. Had a good game midweek (albeit vs Barnsley)
  18. Looks that way. Bonus
  19. Bye bye Jack (?)
  20. Man City take the lead vs Hull (64 mins)
