  1. From Twitter...was this really published by the News at the time?
  2. Any news on a date for the court case?
  3. I'm always game for a good conspiracy theory....
  4. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21374713
  5. @bigadamsport: Just been given details of Keith Harris #pompey takeover bid money by a source and it included £3m cash set aside for transfers
  6. So, fact of the matter is that the best outcome for Chainrai (who just happens to be one of the major creditors) is for the club to be liquidated....then lie low for a while (during which time "the fans" set up a new Pompey in the lower leagues playing their home games "somewhere else") and then....sell off the ground for development once the local authority are happy that there's not going to be any football played at Fatpipe Park for the forseeable future.....? Now....I wonder what the best way to engineer liquidation would be....? An 11th hour bidder that far exceeds what the Trust are offering for FP....? An 11th hour bidder that then gets turned down by the FL (without so much of a whimper in return)? All of which happens a week before the FP valuation court case....? Yep, that could work.....
  7. @MrSimonWilliams: Currently working on a gallery of images from training this morning #saintsfc http://t.co/hqaPJFdd Shaw looking ok there?
  8. My interpretation of yesterday's FL statement is that its now only possible for the -10 to apply this season. My understanding is that -10 applies as soon as they come out of administration and, as stated by the football league yesterday, they have to come out of administration BEFORE the end of the season. I guess there's nothing to stop the football league deciding to move the goalposts on what they've already said but to me its quite clear.... -10 the second they come out of administration and they must come out of administration before the end of the season.

  10. Cheers for the insight. Of course, they can be as confident as they like of being able to raise the funds for a purchase that includes a £3m valuation for Fatpipe Park....as long as the judge agrees with their valuation...which, given 'someone' yesterday offered something significantly better, is surely unlikely...? Unless of course the judge falls for the bleeding heart campaign...
  11. Great read. Cheers for posting
  12. Not sure if one of the points being made here is about the conduct of England fans specifically (?) but just to highlight that a lot of the shouting on Wednesday night was coming from the Brazil section of the crowd (I sit just above the away section in Club Wembley). Maybe some of their shouting was in reaction to England fan shouts but there was certainly a few unsolicited shouts of "Brazil"
  13. There's so many coffee stains on my screen now it's difficult to see who's posted what...
  14. The fact they haven't come back with a "we're very disappointed with the football league's stance....blah...blah...blah" statement indicates to me that yesterday was simply a stunt to illustrate to the judge that someone else is prepared to pay more for Fatpipe Park than the Trust is offering. I'm sure any 'normal' bidder would have issued a reaction statement by now. IMHO of course...
  15. @NabilHassan79: #pompey Ashley Brown: "We'll be meeting the administrator shortly to prepare the timetable to complete our takeover": http://t.co/oeRIXLP7
  16. Here's a couple more to add to the list... @solentsport: #pompey have confirmed 3 players in. Patrick Agyemang (loan), John Akinde (free agent) and Therry Racon (loan)
  17. @NabilHassan79: Roberto Mancini: "They (#saintsfc) are playing very well at the moment, they have a new manager, defend better and tomorrow will be hard."
  18. [video=youtube_share;SmVV6j2FtUI] Is that Targett at the end of that clip?
  19. @NabilHassan79: Man City boss Roberto Mancini says Yaya & Kolo Toure are both available for the trip to #saintsfc while Vincent Kompany could also return.
  20. @NabilHassan79: Something that may have got lost in yesterday's #pompey news is that the PST have increased their offer to Chainrai for Fratton Park to £3m.
  21. I was told by someone yesterday (who knows the press secretary of a league 2 club) that all clubs were emailed by the FL yesterday to be advised that the cut off date is April 30th...
