http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-loan-talent-tipped-to-be-nuisance-in-league-one-1-4428429 So, hot on the heels of an article saying there's no space for the youngsters you get an article singing the praises of their latest Premier League loanee....

http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/door-remains-shut-for-unlucky-pompey-youngsters-1-4428649 I'm lost for words.... Poor old Pompey can't play their youngsters because they're too busy filling the team with ex-Premier League and Championship pros. You really couldn't make this **** up.

Why is it split into two seperate votes? Am I missing something? (apart from a few marbles) Just watch Charlie Dimmock soar to the top once our friends down the road get wind of this poll

Only if the game is on a Saturday -
Citing a one club example (not forgetting Middlesborough a few seasons ago) is no better or worse than people making blanket statements that it would have had a positive effect on our season. Truth is we'll ever know, so both are valid viewpoints

And the Chelsea game has to be played closer to Christmas... @SunSportNow: Ties to be played week commencing December 10. Chelsea's match will be played on December 19 due to participation in FIFA Club World Cup. Good job we can rely on Nigel's fortune telling skills to avoid a game vs Chelsea just before the Xmas/New Year fixture pile up... #greatescape

^This. Sadly. -
Was he the bloke with the oil rig or am I mixing rumours?

Ah, maybe I was confusing Butterfield with Seabourne. Or maybe they were as bad as each other?
-
Butterfield looked particularly awful if those 'highlights' are anything to go by

That's genuinely made me feel queezy. That footage should be showed to every 17 year old who's just passed their driving test. Not singling out 17 year olds as the worst drivers per se, as no doubt many of the accidents on that footage were caused by lunatics across all age groups, but sometimes youngsters need the **** scared out of them to avoid them following in equally bad footsteps. I remember watching a "train awareness" film as a young teenager and recall it scareing the life out of me....everytime I cross a railway line some 30 years later I still have those images in my mind. Off for a stiff one....thanks DP! -
------------------------- Boruc ---------------------------- Richardson/Clyne--- Fonte ----- Yoshida ---------- Clyne/Fox -------- Davis ------------------------ Schneiderlin --------- ------------------------ Lallana ---------------------------- ------- Mayuka ------------------------- Lambert ---------- ---------------------- Rodriguez --------------------------- Bench: Davis/Gazza, Reeves, Hooiveld, Cork, Ramirez (if in contention), Ward-Prowse, Puncheon/Guly/Lee (2 from 3 if Ramirez not in contention; 1 from 3 if he is) If Richardson is fit I would play him at right back and Clyne at left back (out of position I know, but he played well there vs Villa). Failing that, stick with Clyne and Fox. If Ramirez has recovered from his injury but isn't "match fit" I would have him on the bench. The front 3 are the ones that I struggle most to place. I'm thinking Rodriguez should play up top because he has more pace than Lambert and should be high on confidence after getting his first Premier League goal on Sunday. I also noticed that Lambert started playing a bit deeper and wider after Mayuka came on vs Spurs so could he slot into that kind of role from the outset maybe? Anyway, some combination of Lambert, Mayuka and Rodriguez up front for me.
