  23. Perhaps Pompey should look into setting up in Spain after they're liquidated? They'd feel more at home there I reckon. Just a hunch.... http://m.apnews.com/ap/db_15875/contentdetail.htm?contentguid=qMt4Wm9O Spanish clubs owe €752 million in taxes Published: Today MADRID (AP) - Spanish football clubs owe the government €752 million ($982 million) in unpaid back taxes, according to figures released Tuesday. The United Left party says figures provided by the government show an increase of nearly €150 million ($195 million) in unpaid taxes over the past four years, with topflight clubs making up nearly half a billion euros ($653 million) of the overall figure. At least six top division clubs are already in bankruptcy protection. The numbers were released after the United Left, a communist party led coalition, submitted a written request to parliament for the information.
  24. Based upon Twitter updates alone, Falque and Barnard appear to have shone in today's "U21/reserves" game vs Crystal Palace. Can only add to Adkin's "nice problem to have" 1st team squad selection options.... (yes, I know, I know...."it was only Crystal Palace's development squad so don't get ahead of yourself Trousers")
  25. This twitter exchange made me chuckle.... Crystal Palace FC ‏ @Official_CPFC More bad news from our roving reporter - Saints go 4-0 up through Lee Barnard. Not a good day at the office by the sound of it. Ed Malyon ‏ @eaamalyon @Official_CPFC Lee Barnard £1m+ striker, Iago Falque has just signed for Spurs from Juventus! I wouldn't be too worried.
