  1. Portsmouth News have just re-tweeted Jordan's post earlier...obviously trying to stir it up......in the words of Harry Hill......FIIIIIIIGGGGHHHHHTTTT!! @pn_neil_allen: RT @jordansibley: Pompey win Family Club of the Year. I chuckled too. If the irony isn't enough, they have 'bought' two tables at tonight's awards
  2. Lambert wins Championship Player of the Year
  3. @jordansibley: Cardiff's Peter Whittingham wins Mitre Goal of the Year award for his strike against Barnsley.
  4. ^ This
  5. A large rock hurtling around a star on a path to certain oblivion. Now, that's odd.
  6. I was so embarrassed I'm going to stay in for 2 weeks in case I get laughed at
  7. I like the cut of your jib sir :-)
  8. ^ This (or 'liquidation lite' in my conspiracy theorist lingo)
  9. Was just thinking the same. Don't Arsenal have a Japanese lad on their books?
  10. Boro 0 Leeds 2
  11. Leeds just gone 1 up vs Middlesborough. Ok, not a match that directly affects Saints but prefer Leeds to win this one as it casts Middlesborough further adrift from the top 3. 'Boro aren't quite out of contention yet (auto-promotion slot).
  12. The simple solution to the problem of a club temporarily propping up another for its own benefit is to not allow loans between clubs in the same division. Simple.
  13. IIRC, there's a 'secured charge' document on the Companies House database for oldCo. I assume this document is to do with Chainrai?
  14. First time I've seen Lee in the flesh too. If what I saw is him not firing on all cylinders then we have indeed signed a gem
  15. Barnsley's Assistant Manager Dave Flitcroft gave his post-match thoughts at St Mary's Stadium. "First 25-30 minutes I thought the boys did everything we planned," said Flitcroft. "They did everything they could." "It was only when they scored it settled an outstanding team down. "They move the ball quick and pass it well. "It was quite overwhelming at times. They're the best team in the division."
  16. Indeed. My comment was an opinion too.
  17. Incorrect
  18. Guly frustrates those spectators that prefer the 'typical' English "stick it up 'em" style of play. Guly isn't that kind of player. He's a "stroke it around, meander around, deft touch" kind of player. As I say, I'm in the "yet to be convinced he's the bees knees" camp but I'm also in the "don't moan and groan about him" camp.
  19. @joshooiveld20: @joshooiveld20 we should start calling you jos koeman after your stunning strike second half #myalltimefavourite! #noonecanbeathimthough! It was a classic moment...the whole crowd urging Jos to shoot. He seemed to hear the crowd, look up and think to himself..."ah, sod it, why not"....boooom....what a shot! He then ran back to his defensive position whereby he got a standing ovation from that end of the ground and he turned round with a beaming smile clapping at the crowd. Great moment :-)
  20. Which is why I think Birch is trying to negotiate a 'liquidation lite' option with the football league and the local council...
  21. You weren't sitting behind me were you? (block 14, row S). Annoying bloke that spent the WHOLE game (I kid you not) moaning and groaning about Guly. He had an 'ok' game IMO but the next bloke who sits near me moaning about him the duration of the game is going to get a punch in the face. Literally.
  22. Just walking back to the car. Well, if we can win 2-0 playing that lethargically then I fear for our opponents when we're on fire
  23. Barnsley fans doing a stirling impression of Pompey's away support - I can count around 46 of them
  24. @pn_neil_allen: Just spoke to Birch. Henderson joining West Ham on loan. He's not sure the situation with Mullins. One for the manager after game. #Pompey
